Kau Ka Pe‘a Holo Ka Wa‘a

After waiting about a week for favorable winds, the crew of the Höküle‘a finally set sail for the Line Islands.  Even with cloudy skies, no winds and the sheer fact that the Line Islands are low laying islands nearly impossible to see for sea, the crew set their course and kept their course to find Palmyra.  Here is link to the Höküle‘a Worldwide Voyage website that chronicles the events from the escort boat Kama Hele.
