Aloha! \u00a0My name is Smith “Kaleo” Kaleohano, but everyone knows and calls me Kumu Kaleo, you can too! \u00a0I was born and raised in the ocean community of Keaukaha, where I continue to reside today. \u00a0This is my third year teaching Papa 1 and thoroughly enjoy it. \u00a0Before becoming a first grade teacher at Kula Ha`aha`a, I was a preschool Kumu for our Kamehameha Schools. \u00a0I currently hold a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. \u00a0I have an 10 year old son whose name is Kalei. \u00a0Kalei is in Papa 5 at Ka Umeke Ka`eo. \u00a0I enjoy going to the beach to holoholo, camping, playing sports and spending time with Kalei. \u00a0I also enjoy learning about our Hawaiian culture and feel that it is very important as a kanaka Hawai`i.<\/p>\n

I look forward to building positive pilina with all haumana and `ohana. \u00a0E ho`omakaukau no ka papa `ekahi!!<\/p>\n
