If you like books that are funny, Amelia Bedelia will make you laugh…one of my favorite books to read. She takes things literally which means she will do exactly what she hears. If someone says, “Christmas is right around the corner.” She will want to look at the corner for Christmas. Get it? Ha, ha, ha!

I slept over at Aunty Mara’s! She’s a 5th grade teacher in Papa Wailoa. We decorated her Christmas tree last night. It was really fun and we made a gingerbread Christmas tree. I want to eat it but Aunty won’t let me. It’s pretty to look at! My cousin Brookie and I had our own girl’s party room. We watched Night at the Museum and The Fantastic Four. It was a lot of fun! I also stayed up until 10:00 pm. Yeah, VACATION!
On Friday night, my other Aunty (Monica) had a party at the Hawai`i Mission Houses Museum. My sister (Emma) and I dressed up like missionary children. We weaved on a loom, made gingerbread cookies (and ate them… YUM) and rode on a vintage firetruck to see the Christmas lights in town. They were pretty, especially Mrs. Ohia’s (another 5th grade teacher, Papa Waiänuenue) BIG Christmas tree in front of Honolulu Hale. Did you know it came from her yard in `Aiea? I wanted to ride the fire truck again and again and AGAIN! The driver gave us bells to ring and we cheered and waved to the people we passed.

most is mountain bike.i like it because i learned afew bike tricks from it.i hope you come out with a new one next year.Your blogs rock!.that game is so fun when ever I play it I get better every time.I love learning new skills! the best trick I learned so far is the one whellie!

Guess what I’m doing now? Correcting work (2nd grade weather journals). I’m almost done. It takes a long time to finish. The 2nd grade students did an AWESOME job with the weather journals!
I still need to wrap presents too. After tomorrow I should be relaxing!

Iam havingan awsome time on break I just had a 4 day sleepover but iam so happy iam home now. Actually it was supposed to be a 6 day weekend but i wanted to come home!

I got alot of books this Christmas. My favorite book is The Stinky Cheese Man. It is funny. Someone gave me their old Playstation 2 with a box full of 17 games. It’s like new and it so fun! I love Christmas vacation because I don’t have to wake up early to catch the bus in the morning. I have been sleeping in till 7:00 or even 8:00. It’s awesome. Plus I can stay up really late. I have been playing outside with my friends, riding my bike, and playing football. I am trying to teach my friends around here to not litter and I am going to the park today with my brothers and sister. I am having a great time. I hope Santa was good to you because he was really, really, really, good to me and my ‘ohana!

the vacation is going by so fast and that is very bad. my best Christmas prestent ever so far was a ipod and guess what, its my favorite color green and iam pretty sure you know what i did the whole day. I hope all of you had a great Christmas! happy new year!

my auntie and uncle just came over and i opened my presents from them and i got a ipod shuffle so now i have a shuffle and nano. this is the best Christmas ever!

My favorite present was my Nintendo DS. You can play games like high school musical and learning games. You can also draw pictures on it because there is a pen that comes with it.

I am having so much fun during my Christmas vacation. I love sleeping in late, playing football with my friends, and going to the park with my family. I got so many books for Christmas I have been enjoying reading everyday. So far my favorite book is The Stinky Cheese Man. I was at home when the blackout around the island happened. It was so exciting. My brother and I walked around with glow sticks and our flashlights trying to help our neighbors safely from their cars to their apartments. Our family had everything we needed so we didn’t have to go to the store to buy things. It was fun for me. What about you?

I couldn’t get through this website probably because of the blackout. Now everything is okay, and I finally can check out your messages on the blog! Must’ve been really dark on the island!
I’m in TX (Guess what that stands for!)! It took me a long time with the layover and delay, a total of 13 hours of travel and wait time! Then I hear about the blackout while I was on may way to TX. I’m going to see my son graduate from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base.
Keep blogging away! What about the rest of you? How was the blackout?

This was my best Christmas ever! My Christmas tree was so big! When I walked up the stairs, it was still taller than me. The other Christmas tree was smaller because it was the kids’ tree. I got tons of cool, awesome Bakugans and my family got a Wii from Santa Claus! On Christmas Eve we went to church. My cousin and I dressed up as sheperds and my sister and other cousin were angels to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. Hope you had a good Christmas, too!

Happy New Year’s Everyone! I just saw my son for the first time since Nov. 4, 2008. I was so happy to see him. Today I got to see him run the 1.5 mile run. Tomorrow we get to take him off base to relax. Then he graduates on Friday. We get some family time on the weekend before he leaves for Mississippi for more training with the Air Force. No fireworks for me. We are spending quality time together as a family at TX.
Be safe with your fireworks! Maybe 2008 wasn’t that great, but 2009 will be just fine!

guess what? on saturday my friend is having her party at turtle bay and its a sleep over! this is going to be my first time and i am so excited!
yesterday i hada sleepover at my other friends house. it was like one of the best sleepovers i ever went to because her sister and neighbor was their and they always make everything fun and they make everyone laugh.

I had a great Christmas!I got $100! And a green i-Pod! My Grammy from California came to celebrate.I got a lot of presents. I’m really thrilled and thankful for all the presents I got. I got many dog things. And electronical things. And a dog robot.For New Year’s my dad and I went to K-mart for fire crackers. I choose out two. One looked liked a root beer glass, and the other fire cracker,was called the sting of the scorpion. I had fun watching fireworks. I read a book called “White Fang”. I recommmend it to dog lovers and those who like action and adventure. There were a few sad parts but overall I enjoyed it. I had an excellent Christmas! …How about you?

I was happy that my Auntie came this winter break. On Christmas day, my Auntie gave us huge sacks of toys and clothes. She even gave us an animal pillow. I was thankful she came over this break. Last night I had fun popping fireworks and seeing the different colors.

For my Christmas vacation, I have been hanging out with my family. We have been to the library, to the beach, to my moms school, and to our friends houses. We made homemade chocolate chip ice cream and we have been cleaning out the playroom to make room for our new toys. My brother and I got a lot of new board games for Christmas and we have been playing lots of games together. My favorite is pet shop and pictureka. We have been reading a lot of books too. I can’t wait to see my friends when we go back to school next week.

I am having a great Christmas break and New Years. I helped my brother set off fire works.I just finished reading “Happy’s big Plan” from the the Big Apple Barn series. I liked the series of books and I am going to read A Sassy Surprise next.The books are about horses and I am learning about horses too. The horses name is Happy go Lucky.
I went to Honolulu Hale with my family. I saw santa at Homnolulu Hale.On January 1st my Dad taught me how to ride a bike withput training wheels at the park. It was lots of fun.

Some of the things that I’ve done over the vacation were going to watch the U.H. football game, I had my brother’s 2nd birthday party, we played with lots of fireworks, and I’ve been going to lots of parties.

I read lots of books too. My favorite book is Holly the Christmas Fairy by Daisy Meadows. It was all about Christmas and it was perfect book to read during the holidays.

Today I am playing with my light saber. It is green. My light saber is fun. I got two fighting fish for Christmas. Their names are Merny and Jon. Merny is blue and Jon is red. Christmas day my family and I opened all of our presents, and ate alot of food. My great grandma came over from Moloka’i and my Aunty Sharlene, Uncle Pedrico, and my cousing Kalei came all the way from Spain to spend the holidays with us. The best present of all was going to Disneyland with my Grandma G, Dad, Aunty Kai,Uncle Jose, Aunty Landa and my cousin Jaelyn. I left the day after Christmas and spent the New Year’s there also. We had alot of fun. I got to meet Mickey Mouse, all the Princess’and watched the Parade of Lights. My favorite ride was the Space Mountain. I thank God for bringing me home safely. I was really happy coming home to my ohana that was waiting for me with open arms and really big smiles. They all really missed me, especially my brothers, Mom, Papa and Grandma. My Grandma Lani and Papa Joe made a welcome home party for me with lot’s of laulau, pulehu steak, hot dog, my mom’s famous dream cake, my favorite salad and a really big fish. I thank God for giving me with a majical holiday season that I will never forget and a beautiful ohana.

One cool book I’ve been reading is “Coraline”. It is about a girl who moves into a flat. She finds a door that goes to the other flat and it has everything exactly like hers. Her other mother and father want her to stay and be their little girl. It’s going to be a movie in February.

I went geo-caching with my family. We used a GPS to find hidden stuff around Kailua. We found three locations near our house with small toys and we signed our name to show that we were there. I watched Desperaux and Marley and Me with my Daddy. I helped paint the house for my Mommy.

On New Year’s Eve, my cousins slept over. We did tons of fireworks. We had long morning glories, lots of pop-pops and tanks.
Today I played Legos and wrote thank yous for my Christmas presents. Now I’m going to play with my wizard playset and then I’m going to go outside to play basketball with my sister & mommy.

Happy New year! On New years eve and early new years morning my whole neighborhood was exploding of course some of them were my neighbors blowing illegal fireworks but the point is my whole neighborhood blew up. Earlier that evening my neighbors accidently blew a illegal firework into another yard by the car. I also made a bon fire in two bricks then it rained. For Christmas I got a ATM machine and a baby kiss from my baby sister who turned one on the 27th

Oh I forgot to say that I enjoyed Keenyn’s video it was so detailed and looked like fun.
I also enjoyed Pua’s video. It was so colorful and interesting. I know why she love’s flowers so much, her name in english means flower.

Aloha Everyone!! I had a wonderful Christmas and New Years Break. Christmas was spent at my Aunty Lia’s house. My great grandma from Moloka’i came over along with my Aunty Sharlene, Uncle Pedro, and my cousin Kalei came all the way from Spain. We all opened our gifts from Santa..My favorite gift was my Nintendo Wii…New Years was so much fun, we popped firecrackers till 2:00 in the morning..I really love to pop the big fireworks…I am really happy that all of my ohana was able to spend the holidays together. I can’t wait to see all my friends again in school.

Hi. I liked to read about all the toys everyone got for Christmas. One of my favorite gifts I got for Christmas was Obi Wan Kenobi’s Ship and Ring. My second favorite gift was a transformer crossover of Boba Fet and his ship. My thrid favorite gift was the Star Wars Complete Saga Wii game. During my vacation I did lots of fun things. I went swimming at the beach and pool and I went to the water park. I went to the movies to see Bedtime Stories and The Tale of Desperaux. I played lots of board games with my family. We ate lots of good food too. I slept late everyday and really liked just to play with my friends and my toys. The best thing that happened to me was my tooth being pulled out because I have a new tooth that came up. I feel great about going to school tomorrow because I want to see everybody. Find me at school because I look different without my tooth. Good night!

I liked the winter vacation because we got a new wii on christmas. On New years eve we went to our uncle’s house in nanakuli and we popped tons of fireworks like firecrackers and morning glories. From santa I got a Lego city coast gaurd patrol boat and patrol tower and it had a dock with cargo.

I enjoyed the break because we got a bunch of great gifts from our family. My favorite toy that we got for Christmas was a Nintendo wii. I enjoyed playing video games the day after Christmas and we were playing our new wii when the power completely went out. On new years we went to our uncle’s house and enjoyed popping fireworks at his house write down the street people were using illegal aerials that bursted like bombs and at midnight they set up all of there extra fireworks and set them off all at once when they went off me and my dad were under a tree and a flying spark almost hit me.

It was great fun doing fireworks on new years eve. That was the first time I ever light a magic whip. Now its my favorite firework! Me and my brother put a lot of ground bloom flowers in a box and lit it then it made a small fire. That was very cool!

Christmas Eve we opened presents. I slept over my papa Lance’s house and played the Nintendo WII. My papa also took us to the movies and to Arizona memorial. I also rode the trolley to see Honolulu hale and had dinner at the spaghetti Factory. We popped fireworks on new years eve. I popped smoke bombs,Crackle balls and magic whips. I had lots of fun during my break. On the break I went to easter seals annual gingerbread making. At my Nana’s house we made Christmas ornaments with beads,string and bells. We made candy canes, Christmas wreaths and Christmas trees.Everyday we did an activity. I had nice clothes and awesome toys from all of my family.

Aloha everyone,
Thank you for blogging with me. My favorite Christmas gift was being with my son for his Air Force Basic Training Graduation. It was a very special time for our family to reunite and support his decision to join the military. We also spent several days with him on New Years before he had to go to his next location for tech training. This was a gift of love and happiness. Something that can’t be wrapped or bought from a store which made it one of the most special Christmas ever.

I went to Hilo over the Christmas vacation and I got to visit my grandmother and grandfather and see the three Chihuahua puppies. I had a lot of fun. I heard thunder and lightning and it rained a lot. It was scary at times. I went to take a buffet and got to eat ice cream and brownies. And I hope you had a great winter vacation. Bye!

I spent time with my family over Christmas vacation. For Christmas I got most of the things that I wanted. On New Years eve we went to my Aunty’s house and popped fireworks. It was alot of fun. On New Years Day we went to my great grandma’s house to eat sushi and mochi soup. I don’t care for mochi soup, but I do like mochi!

I played with my new toys. I really like my Barbie Doll that sings. I also went to the zoo.

On Christmas vacation I decorated the tree and we had a Christmas party. On New Years I popped fireworks by myself. I read a lot of books with my Mom.

On new year we popped loud fireworks.People even popped illegal fireworks like aerials
but they looked beautiful.

i got a nintendo ds and got clothes insted of toys and y other cousin got all of the toys that i wanted and when i asked my mom and dad for a rubic cube and i got what i wanted.

Mahalo for the makana! I think the Primary Games site is so cool. Tumblebooks is my favorite place to go to. I love to taking the quiz after I finish ready:-)and getting 5/5 correct!
