WOW third grade writers! I really enjoyed learning about the plants and animals featured on our Nani Ke Ao Nei mural. I can’t wait to see the rest of the research projects :0)

The Kolea can fly from Alaska to Hawaii

That video was the awesomist video ever. I looked at Kainoa’s video. I didn’t know that it flew from Alaska to Hawaii.

✐ I learned a lot from this project and it was a great experience. ☺☺☺ And I loved learning about the amazing Kolea that can fly from Alaska to Hawaii on a super long 3,000 mile journey! It is amazing how far it can fly to migrate.

The third graders did some wonderful research. We think Kaya did a great job on her i`iwi research. The projects were very informative. Mahalo third graders and Mrs. Redona for sharing with us!

I think that we all did a great job! It took a lot of work, time, and effort but it was worth it! My work is on the internet! How cool is that? I am doing a second one too.

It was great to see all of the work my former kindergarten students are doing. They’ve learned a lot since kindergarten! Great job!

Did you know that “kolea ke Kolea i kona inoa iho. (the Kolea bird calls its own name, or talks about himself, it’s known as a braggart, one who like to brag). If you call someone a Kolea, it means they are boastful.
