Here is a photo of the I`iwi (AKA: Hawaiian Honeycreeper). Here are two websites you can use to research the I`iwi. Please comment on how you liked these websites. Were they helpful or not helpful?

Dear Mrs. Redona
I’m now liking website 2 now. Did you know tha the I’iwi is Vulnerable.
October 27th, 2008 at 2:53 pm
Dear Nick,
I learned that when a species is vulnerable it is almost extinct. According to Wikipedia and Smithsonian National Zoological Park, the I`iwi birds do not exist on Lana`i and the are almost extinct from O`ahu and Moloka`i. This is so sad. By doing this research you are learning an important and powerful lesson: WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR NATIVE BIRDS.
These birds are unique. There’s no other bird like the I`iwi living around the world. We need to see how we can keep them alive for hundreds of years. I’m so glad you are learning so much, Nick!

Hi Keola and everyone else in third grade…
I’ll be at the computer lab whenever I can just drop in. If you see me there, you can stay. If I’m not there, you can’t stay.
Thank you for using recess time to catch up/move ahead.
