    Dear Mrs. Redona
I’m now liking website 2 now. Did you know tha the I’iwi is Vulnerable.

  8. Ruby Redona Says:

    Dear Nick,

I learned that when a species is vulnerable it is almost extinct. According to Wikipedia and Smithsonian National Zoological Park, the I`iwi birds do not exist on Lana`i and the are almost extinct from O`ahu and Moloka`i. This is so sad. By doing this research you are learning an important and powerful lesson: WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR NATIVE BIRDS. :) These birds are unique. There’s no other bird like the I`iwi living around the world. We need to see how we can keep them alive for hundreds of years. I’m so glad you are learning so much, Nick!

    :) Mrs. Redona
