Project 6: How-To Video<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your task is to produce a 1:30 – 2 minute video which will teach people \u201cHow to do\u201d something. \u00a0Each project should be a complete step by step instructional video on how to do, repair, make, or perform something, etc. \u00a0You can choose any topic to do, but please make sure you get your idea approved prior to starting.<\/p>\n

Guidelines:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Video must be between 1:30 – 2 minutes<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Basic shots (Wide, Medium, Close up, Ex. closeup), Other Angle must be used.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Reaction shot, cut in and cut aways are not required but will be nice to see.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Each step must be highlighted by numbered text in your video<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Instruction should be complete (beginning to end)<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Import, edit, and export using iMovie<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Target audience must be evident<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Video must have royalty free music (Use DeWolfe Music)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Project 5: PSA<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The purpose of this project is for students to create a Public Service Announcement (PSA), using technology, which communicates a message to multiple audiences.<\/p>\n

    Task: Create a PSA, which addresses a school rule or problem that you feel needs to be addressed. Objective: Students will create a 30-second PSA using iMovie.
    \nGuidelines:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    1. Canvas size should be set to 1920\u00d71080 px<\/li>\n
    2. Import, edit, and export using iMovie<\/li>\n
    3. Use 4 main angles with an establishing shot (wide, medium, close-up, extreme CU)cut in, cut away, est. shot, other angle, and a reaction shot<\/li>\n
    4. Target audience must be evident.<\/li>\n
    5. Use clear film techniques (humor, music, excitement, fear, etc.)<\/li>\n
    6. Video must have royalty free music<\/li>\n
    7. Videos should contain music from the DeWolfe site.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Project 4 – Digital Story<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The purpose of this project is twofold; to be able to communicate a story through a multimedia medium; and to learn basic video editing through iMovie.<\/p>\n

      Task:\u00a0 Students will create a video story using iMovie.<\/p>\n

      Objective:\u00a0 To communicate a story utilizing two minutes in length. \u00a0Movie must contain photos\/clipart, narration, and background music.<\/p>\n

      Guidelines:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. End project must be between 2:00 \u2013 2:30 min. in length.<\/li>\n
      2. Narration must be clear, not drowned out by background music.<\/li>\n
      3. Slideshow must match written story.<\/li>\n
      4. Export video as a Quicktime Movie through iMovie.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Pictures and photos must match your written story.<\/p>\n
