A world of Metaphors

As poem makers, we absorb like sponges, see things in a different way, and use 4-D to absorb EVERYTHING inside and outside. These are metaphors that students wrote, which I believe must be shared with everyone!!

Love

Love is the wind, so calm and so rough.-Kanekoa
Love is a rainbow, that lets your favorite colors come to life.-Cuinn
Love is a rainbow that gives the world color.-Maka’ala
Love is a sail on a sailboat because it guides you.-Blake
Love is the wind. A cool breeze similar to a blanket wrapped around you.-Kahuwai
Love is the wind because it blows away your troubles.-Paige
Love is a rainbow that shelters you.-Buddy
Love is a rainbow that says God is with you.-Xian
Love is the wind wrapping its coldness around me.-Leiloa

Time

Time is numbers. It never ends- Mckenna
Time is a butterfly that is in a never ending cycle.-Kyra
Time is recess because you get to spend time with your friends.-Makana
Time is gold because you treasure it.-Aleiya
Time is a cheetah going so fast.-Nalu
Time is a clock ticking tick tock, tick, tock.-Auliilani

Friendship

Friendship is a warm never ending cup of noodles-Chirs
Friendship is a boat and your friend is a sail.-Mia
Friendship is your house door always welcoming.-Travis
Friendship is grass, it is always growing.-Jenny
Friendship is a favorite toy that you can keep forever.-Cherelle

Anger

Anger is a black cloud on recess time. It makes me angry that we have indoor recess.-Naniloa
Anger is a lemon. It makes everything sour.-Davin
Anger is Pele the  lava that destroys all the crop.-Ka’ai
Anger is a dark cloud.-Jake
