Our Hawaiian value of this trimester is A’o~ to teach, to learn, to advise, to counsel….Olivia and Kolt have both embraced this value by taking on the kuleana of their learning…asking questions, engaging themselves in their work and sharing their ideas and thoughts with their peers. Aloha……We learned so much about Charles Reed Bishop at our convocation on Friday. What a “pono” man he was…not just in his words but in his deeds. It is clear why our Princess Pauahi loved him so…he loved our children, our people, our land and Ke Akua just as much as she did. God Bless Charles Reed Bishop! Mahalo nui to Ms. Shonnie for all the ‘ike she shared with us!

“Pele is indeed here in Hawai’i…” Our huaka’i to the lua pele (Volcano) today was absolutely breath taking, spirit moving, brain engaging and enlightening to all parts of our Hawaiian being! Eo e Puna!
