basement floor, Midkiff is getting a full work up and redesign.\u00a0 It is hopeful that this project will be completed by mid 2026-207 school year.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-image-carousel Konia field to house Midkiff&#8217;s services and resources.\u00a0 Named after the famous rains of Honolulu, <em>K\u016bkalahale<\/em> is the temporary home of Midkiff Learning Center.\u00a0 Midkiff&#8217;s general collection library, Hawai\u02bbi collection, Student Production Center, and Digital Media studio are located on the first floor.\u00a0 The second floor is currently shared by various math, science, health, and student publication classes.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-image-carousel fusion-image-carousel-auto lightbox-enabled fusion-carousel-border\"><div style=\"transform:translate3d(0,0,0);\"><p>The Midkiff Learning Center was dedicated in 1977 at the Kamehameha Schools Kap\u0101lama High School campus.\u00a0 It was designed for current and future students of the high school to house materials from both the boys school library and girls school library.\u00a0 But it also envisioned a learning center for future generations with a dedicated room for Hawaiiana materials, a television studio and an audio and graphics center.<\/p>\n<p>Today, that vision is being realized in a thriving Learning Center with a Library of over 60,000 books and other various\u00a0 resources, a Digital Media Production studio, a Student Production Center, the Hawai\u02bbi Collection, Student Publications, the Kamehameha Schools Museum Archive and multiple classroom
