Hiring Over Social Media

Clearly, this infographic contradicts a few others I just posted a week and a half ago…looks like I need to dig around for some truth.

First off I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Kudos!

  2. Thanks for the question! Sorry, but I have been on vacation so I am just replying to this now.

Well, I do a few things:

    1. I usually bullet point my big ideas in a Draft Post so that I am not forced to finish any one post at a time if other things come up.
    2. I also use Dragon Dictation on my phone in the car ride home from work to enunciate all of the things swimming around in my head. I then share whatever I have with myself at the stop light (I know, I need to stop that) and then I pick it up at home if I have time. If I donʻt, I pull it into my Draft Post and fix all of the tech mistakes and Post.

I know these two strategies are minimal, Iʻll try and think of others and comment again when ideas come up.

    Thanks again for the question!

    Melia
