This novel is awesome! Zen and the art of faking it might me the best novel I read this year! I loved how this novel was focused on one subject. It was at some points confusing but you explained each scene in the book with great detail. I could picture every scene in the book happening like a Hollywood movie. I really understood the moral of this book. Always be yourself and speak only of the truth. I also love this book because I can relate to it myself. I think you should continue making great books and maybe make a Zen series. I think this book is so interesting I would love to hear more about San.Lee the main character and Woody or Emily the other main character, (San.Lees friend).

Eoin, your book the wish list is a good book. It is easily understood and pretty interesting. I like how you explain things so thoroughly and with such detail. For examlpe when you were describing Flit and his different color skin and aura. Even though this book isn’t that action packed it is still very addicting in the way that you always want to know what could happen next. I really liked this book and hope that you might make a sequel so I can learn more about Meg Finn and her new friend Lowrie MCcall.

This novel is one amazing book!! It has lots of nailbiting and a verry suspenceful climax. I highly recomend it to all children of all ages because it teaches kids to use their Imagination and supports the childrens sence of adventure. Also, the illustrations are beautiful. I cant wait untill your next novel comes out. It will probably be even better than your first novel because now Jason, Julia, and Rick find themselves in ancent eypt where the real adventure begins. -Jonah Chiquita

ULYSIS MOORE
the door to time
This book is an excellent novel written by Carol Fenner. It depicts magic time travel and teleportation. This book is fast paced and has a fast plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is filled with riddles and secrets that burrow into your mind. This book is also great to use to learn how to read. The word choice is excellent yet not to hard.

“Things You Either Hate Or Love,” is on my list for things I love! The characters are unique, fun, and easy to get attached to. Once I started the first sentence, I knew I chose the right book. Georgia is a strange, but fun-loving girl that I grew quite fond of. The plot was quite a work of art! If you had continued the story of Georgia and Hunter, that book won’t even be on the shelves long before I get it. Well to say in simplest terms, it’s awesome!
April 17th, 2008 at 5:16 pm
Jack this book is a keeper! It has many life lessons like to be thankful for what you have, never judge somebody by what other people say, and give things without expecting anything back. I highly recomend this to teenagers because it will change many of their perspectives and of how they see things. The novel has comics to show the readers what the message looks like in real life. If I read the next book made I know that I would love to keep on reading it over and over again.
April 17th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
Geraldine your novel, Peter Pan in Scarlet, is truly an adventure for everyone who ever wondered what Neverland was like in the future! I highly sujest that kids and any one who is interested should read this book because ounce they do they will find that Neverland and the others aren’t like how they were twenty something years ago. Also the whole novel is just so adventurous and breath taking! I hope you make a new Pater Pan book soon because I know the next one will be even more adventurous and even more interesting! Keep up the wonderful work!

Hiro Mashima, I don’t know what to say, Your Novel is AWESOME Man!!! The action is so hard to explain in one word. Your novel goes from one sad moment, to where Haru the Rave master comes to save the one who he really cares about, Elie. You show how Haru is such a good person, that when he is about to die by someone he didn’t know was around, Musica, Haru’s good friend comes to save him by stopping Reina, One of the Oracion Six, led by King. I enjoy that this book is a series because when i finished reading this novel, it made me feel like I can’t wait until I get to read the next novel that’s coming out from the series. I can’t wait to see when Haru, Elie, and Musica come to meet the powerful demon lord of the Oracian Six, King………Kamalani Crum

Wow, the novel, Becoming Naomi Leon is great! When you start reading you don’t want to put the book down. You are always saying to yourself, “I wonder what’s going to happen next?” This book is full of mysteries and drama. I think all children should read this book because I think lots of people can relate to the main character. I think this novel is one of the best I have read this year! I can’t wait to read another one of your novels.

This novel should win a Newberry award. It’s suspenseful and puts you at the edge of your seat wanting more. It may talk about cats but it has many mysteries to uncover and alot of fighting scenes that feels like you have a front row seat of the battle. When you’re half way through the book and you think you know everything the book makes a sudden twist and almost everything you knew becomes useless. The book is so good that they needed a whole series just to contain all the action-packed excitement. My book is the first novel(Warriors: Into the Wild) and it talks about an average house cat named Rusty who one day goes into the forest and is accepted to be a warrior of a clan of forest cats. Rusty then confronts other clans for a fight for survival and terriotory than is challenged from two other clans and even his own! So you want to know more read Warriors: Into the Wild or any other Warriors book.

The novel Hatchet is one adventurous book Mr. Gary Paulson. After I read your book I actually wanted to be Brian (The main character that gets stranded) in that novel. I actually wanted to be stranded in the middle of no where surviving on fish birds and berries living in a cave with sand. I love the enthusiasm that you give Brian in the book, and the way he never gives up his quest for survival. This novel is so great, I think every library in the world should have 1 or more copies of this book so everone can say:”Gary Paulson’s novel Hatchet is #1.

The book, Pistol: the life of Pete Maravich, has to be the most amazing and outstanding book I’ve ever read!!! The author, Mark Kriegel, has delivered yet another awesome biography about one of basketball’s most compelling players. The book is a beautiful novel that captures the readers inner self with the magnificent tale of the “Pistol” Pete Maravich. It talks about his on-court brilliance, and his compicated off-court life. This book is a page turner and a must read for all hoop fans!

With a very intriguing title and spectacular chapters this book is a remarkable find. It all starts with the title, “Murder on Set”. You just have to find out what happens when a gun is pointed to Nancy’s head. You can’t put it down. Before reviewing this book I thought that this book is for only the youth. But this book changed my mind. You solve one story after another. Its a must read for all ages. That will be remembered for years to come.

Dear Lemony Snicket,
Your book is amazing!! I love how you put the reader in such great suspense and you leave them on the edge of their seats. My favorite part in your novel so far is when the man with a beard and no hair and the woman with hair but no beard came to see Count Olaf. I like how you described how those two people where so evil, that if you dare even to talk about them, it would be best not to mention their names, and how you pointed out that there is an aura of menace (that normally people rarely have) when you are around them. To me, I could just imagine being there and feeling all of their evilness floating off of them and going on to me. I like how you explain what is going on and how the characters surroundings look like in detail so I gat a perfectly clear image in my head. I just can’t believe that Count Olaf still actually thinks Violet and Klaus are dead!! If I were him, I probably would’ve remembered how smart the eldest Baudelaire children were and think of a better plan to get rid of them or something like that; but that’s what makes this boook so interesting. I can’t wait until I get my hands on your the next book you have for me!!
April 18th, 2008 at 5:34 pm
“The Giver” is a nailbiting, well written, five-star book. The descriptions of what is happening in the book, puts a clear image into the reader’s head. This isn’t a novel that would normally put a kid to sleep. It’s ADDICTIVE! You never know what would happen next, which makes it so interesting. This book is enough to keep adults entertained. Women would love this book because it’s very emotional. Men and children would love it because it’s like a big puzzle, that’s beyond difficult to solve. If I were you Louis Lowry, I’d be so proud to have written such a great novel, which I believe is the best that has ever been written.

Dear Newbery Medalist Jerry Spinelli,
First of all I like how you made the title and the cover page catchy. The baby with the mustache on the cover really caught my eye. Your book “Crash” is great because its funny and its a good life lesson because its about reaching for your dream, pulling through and becoming a better person. I say that because you can really notice that Crash is increasingly getting nicer to Penn. He wasn’t faking to being nice to soften him up to pull another prank on him either. In the end they become best friend, putting their old days of being mad behind them and moved on. I like how you made that happily ever after feeling at the end. Personally I think every store that sells books should have one.
Sincerely,
Kapono Uyetake

Mr. Armstrong,
you have written an incredible novel “Sounder”. I love the way you talk about American history, such as segregation. If I was to rate this book I would rate it a 9 of 10. You include everything in detail and compare it with something. From the way Sounder howls, to the way the red faced brick man is so mean, to the part that the boy is looking for his father, and a guard that throws a piece of iron at him. Each scene is explained richly and carefully to my understanding. Thank you for writing this book,
Joselyn Kaleimakamae Evans-Bautista

Wow. Way to go! How do you write these kinds of books. You are one of the best authors. I am not really a fan of reading, but when I get my eye caught on awesome mystery books like yours, man I just can’t put it back down!! It’s like that book is glued to my hands, and my eyes just can’t stop reading the book. Everyone should get a chance to read Don’t Look Behind You. Once you read it once, you will love to read it over and over again. If you put this book in a contest, and I was the judge, guess what? You would be the first prize winner. You must be really proud of yourself. Don’t worry, I will not stop reading any of your books. Your other books must be just as good as this number one book!!!

Dear Kathryn Lasky,
How do you do it? This novel is so intriguing. There are so many twists and turns on every flippin page! It’s filled with fictional and non fictional facts that make two worlds collide: Kazunomiya and Ancient Japan’s Royalty. I love to read the chapters over and over again. Keep writing terrific books such as this one they aRe awesome.

Wow Sharon this is a awsome book! I am so happy for Sophie I think she found her true family. I felt so sorry for her that she was the only girl on the Wanderer cause I know that I would like one of my friends who is a girl on the boat with me. Thats wierd how the radio codes work. If i made my name in radio code, my name will be Sierra,Hotel,Oscar,Lima,Alpha. That was so sad when Uncle Dock asked Rosalie to marry him but she was leaving. I mean he just found her. That will be cool if you make another extention to the book. You should make another book, your always,-Shola Kahiapo.

A educational novel that is sure to express the inner learner in you. Fun games and facts that make you think “WOW”. Stump your teachers with fact they might not even know. I tried with Mrs. Helm and Mrs. Ka’awaloa and they didn’t get it.
April 21st, 2008 at 5:58 pm
There is one word that I can use to describe your book: undescribable. I absolutely love the mysteriousness dark side that you add. I also love the characters and the witty remarks in the book. You have so much descriptions anyone who reads this book can get a degree in forensics. I also love the twists that you put in at each chapter. Then the endings are just WOW! I mean, how do you create such a complicated plot and a complicated problem then have such an amazingly simple answer?! Your writing is very complex and exciting which just makes this book #1. Keep going and I can’t wait for your next book!

Mrs. Shelly Pearsall,
Your book “Crooked River” is amazing! It was a thrilling story especially when Indian John escapes through the trial when a thunder storm arose. I really liked the part in the book when Rebecca cuts part of the rope so that Indian John could break lose and run away quickly. A group of muskets anxiously waited for him to die. It was pure luck that a thunder storm had suddenly appeared! I would encourage kids my age to read this exciting novel. It’s a very good book that when you start to read it you just can’t stop reading! I can’t wait to read your next book.
Thanks,
Jacob Kekauoha

Dear Edmond Hamilton,
After reading your novel I felt like I wanted to go on some kind of adventure. The book got me caught in the moment and when for example something bad happened I could actually feel what the character was feeling. This book is a 11 out of 10 type of book. I just couldn’t stop reading it. I also liked how the story at some parts kept me hanging and making me want to read on. The cover before every new story also makes you really want to read that story. You’re doing an awesome job. Keep it up yo “E” dog.
Sincerely,

From the Desk of Sam Bader
To award-winning author Mr. Graham Salisbury,
Your book, the Eyes of the Emperor, is the best book I have read for the year! Your captivating storytelling and interesting plot gets me addicted, and it’s hard to put down such a fine work of literature. The prejudice put on by the Americans towards Americans of Japanese ancestry (Nisei) is a very interesting and important detail that was one of the many problems after the World War II era. The story of Cat Island pulled me into the story, and I felt as if I was right there next to Eddy Okubo and his fellow soliders going through all the struggles, surprises, and prejudice that came with being a Japanese-American solider in the U.S. Army, especially when called into action immediatly after Pearl Harbor. The cliffhanger at the end of your book leaves many questions unanswered, but I guess that’s where your want our imagination to kick in. I am a fan of your books, and I love your style of writing. I anxiously wait to see what of your surprises I am in for next. Keep up the outstanding work!

Jenny,
This novel is awsome! This story has multiple places where I don’t want to put the book down. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this book a 10. I highly reccomend for everyone to read this story because it is always has something entertaining going on. For example, in each chapter Holly is always trying to find out information from Amy’s Uncle, Ben on what a “perfect man” is like. Holly wants Jean, her mother to meet Ben because he knows all about treating a woman, and Holly feels that he is the perfect man for her mother. I tink that certain individuals can relate to his story because they might know someone who has peresonal issues. While reading this story I always think “What is Holly going to do next?”. This is a excellent novel and I can’t wait to read another one of your books!
April 22nd, 2008 at 1:34 pm
WOW! Holly great job on your books these were great! I would have to say The Spiderwick Chronicles was my favorite series yet! This is a series I wouldn’t want to stop reading, and if I had to say one word to describe it I would have to say THRILLER, because in almost every moment when the characters afraid I felt like I was there and I was scared with them.

Dear Rick Carroll,
Your book Spooky Tales 4 is amazing. The way you sink the readers in to the stories. Making them not wanting to stop reading is incredible. Especially since all of the stories are true makes them more exciting. From a scale from 1-10 I rate this book a 10. I insist on everyone to read this book because its very easy to read. Plus the stories are well thought out too. Great job on this book Spooky Tales 4.

Dear Tracie Vaughn Zimmer,
Reaching for Sun is probably one of my many favorites of all time. And by many favorites I mean I only have three! This book is exciting yet calm, funny yet safisticated, and awsome yet AWESOME! Your poems really made me wonder what it would be like having cerebral palsy and how Josie feels. I like how you make the end of each poem the start of something new happening to her in the story. It is genius. This novel is awesome and I can’t wait to find another one of your books.

Adeline Yen Mah the book Chinese Cinderella: and the Secret Dragon Society is a five star novel. This book talks about many horrible and interesing tragic things that happened to you when you were 12 years old. This is the best novel I read this year. It makes me think of the bad times that I had in my life. If I were to rate this book from a scale of 1-5 I would give it a 5. I think that this book was very interesting when the talk about World War 2 and the many sad times her parents abused her as a child. Reading this book was very painful, and happy at the same time like when they save Eric from his leg being shot from the Japanese. I cant wait to read another novel of yours!
April 22nd, 2008 at 1:45 pm
Dear Tracie Vaughn Zimmer,
I absolutely LOVE Reaching for Sun! It’s an all time favorite!! I love the way you write the story, because it is easy for anyone to understand. I think this book is a sad story the way Josie almost loses her grandmother and is made fun of by everyone at school but Jordan. I was told that Josie looks like me… but I don’t think so, so I tried to see if she is anything like me. I found out she’s not, because I live with my mom and dad, I see my parent’s everyday for longer than just 20 minutes, I don’t have a disability, and well I have more than 1 friend. So, as you can see we aren’t anything alike! Also, I want to add in that I love the illustrations of the flower growing on the side of the page, its really nice! I love your book, but I do highly recommend that you write longer poems!! Because at the end of the story, I wanted their to be more!! I really like this book and I can’t wait to read another!
April 22nd, 2008 at 1:49 pm
Genius!!!!! That’s what you are Narinder Dhami for writing your #1 bestselling novel Genius Games. I felt a bit strange on the inside because of the ending where Sarah Slade almost “kidnapped” Annie before they left on the trip to America.Of course I had to try and find out if you’re writing another novel continuing on Genius Games with whether or not Jack and his family went back to England, if Annie stops playing her games, and what was going to happen that Sarah wanted to save Annie from. Sarah’s character is my least favorite because to me she is very sleek and sly. I love Jack’s character because he has finally learned how to reach out and find the inside of Annie’s heart to create the love that they have both needed. I am happy that Jack and Annie have got along in the end and the novel brings out the true care that they have for each other as brothers and sisters. This novel helped me to to realize how important my family is to me.

Henry and The Clubhouse
Beverly Cleary
Mrs. Cleary I am happy to inform you that your book was a new discovery! Henry Huggins, made me realize how exciting but difficult a “tween” life is. Just one of the reasons I read this book was because I never read a book like this before. How do you do it, your like a mind reader you include details so adequate its like I’m apart of the book I give it “two thumbs up” for its imagery, and recommend this book to children all ages because its easy to understand and when you read it you will realize why she earned so many prestigious awards. I congradulate you Mrs. Cleary and WILL read your books again!
April 22nd, 2008 at 2:20 pm
Meg, your book is a fantastic book that everyone (mostly girls) should read. It keeps you right at the edge of your seat and you feel like you are in the book. It will drag you into the book. This book is always giving you questions to think about and making you say one thing “I need to find out more”. this book is so good.

Hawai’i’s Best SPOOKY tales 4
This book is amazing! I have never read anything like it before. To all the writers of this book I would like to inform you that the stories you told were exciting tales to read. It had adventure, comedy, and SPOOKYness. I would recomend this spine-tingling book to everyone that loves a good ghost story once in a while. I want to give a round of applause to everyone that contributed and to the person that collected all the stories, Rick Carroll. Great job and I am looking forward to reading some of your other books.

One of the greatest novels ever! It has a lot of detail and has a lot of dialog from the best-selling video game for the xbox. It tells about every twist and turn that they can’t explain in the game such as character”s names ,names of the different items ,and the story from 3 different people’s kinds of views from the conflict. I am hoping to get all of the books because I already have two so I only need 3 more I just hope I will be able to read them!
April 22nd, 2008 at 7:53 pm
Kate DiCamillo your book “Because of Winn-Dixie” is a very entertaining book. I like how you put the reader in the eyes of the main character (India). What makes your book so uniqe is that once I started to read this I couldn’t stop reading it. If I had to rate this book on a scale on 1-10 I would rate it 10. What is great about this book is that the book is easy to read and it has a lot of colorful details. I can’t wait until your next book comes out.

My book: what my mother doesn’t know
Dear Sonya Sones,
I love your book and the way you thought of the catchy title was amazing! Without your title I think I wouldn’t have read your book in a million years, but I guess I proved myself wrong. If it did not have the title I would have just looked at the cover page, and to me it was not that interesting as the novel really is. So I think you should work a little on the pictures for the cover page because it does not show anything about the novel and you could lose a lot of readers that way. Another suggestion I have is that you should make a note to readers saying the age limit for children that are young but can read really well because some parts of this book should not involve younger children under the age of 9, perhaps. But other than those two things, I could just read your book a million times and I would never be tired.

The Sisterhood, from “The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants”, and, “The Second Summer Of The Sisterhood, made me realize how much fun it is, when you`re with your friends. You can let out your feelings and tell your deepest secrets. When you`re, with your sisters you are filled with personality and great support. Thats why, this book, became a New York times bestseller. I hope you, Ann Brashares, eventually will write more books like this one to inspire people, because i want to and, im planning to read another one of your AMAZING STORIES!!! ~Kamaile Pahukoa ;]]]]]]]]]]]]

Oh My Gosh!! “ttfn” is the best! I mean its a book in all I.M.s! How cool is that? I *NEVER* saw a book like that! Every time you read you think; “hmm… what’s going to happen next??”, or “Wow this book is good!”. After reading a novel like this you’re going to want to read the sequel to “ttfn” to keep on going. The novel is AWESOME it has a lot of drama, friendships, and it shows you what you can do when you really *want* it. So Ms. Lauren Myracle I give you CONGRATS, its another one of your fine books, and I encourage you to keep on writing, your books are awesome!!
=) ;p

This novel is one of the best books I’ve read this year. Edward Eager’s Seven- Day Magic is a book full of adventures. I found Barnaby very interesting when he couldn’t take his eyes off of the pool that reveals bad deeds. When you start reading you don’t want to stop. You go from fighting a dragon, to the little girl who finds a charm, to meeting 3 of the kids father and going into the book that Barnaby made. In almost every chapter it keeps the mind wanting more.

Dear Sherman Alexie,
Man your book, the absolutly true diary of a part time indian, is great. It felt like I stepped into Juinors, main character, shoes. I read it 3 times and going on to read it again. I can not put this book down. This story tells the truth about how indian kids on the rez(resevation) get treated. Although it is a sad story and makes you want to reach out into the world and help juinor, it is also funny and heartwarming at the same time. I love your book and can’t wait for another one to come out like that!
good bye
harper.

Princess in Waiting
Meg Cabot
Meg, your book is a total success. It made me realize that even a princess has a lot of responsibilities, maybe even more but your book tells us that a princess doesn’t just sit back and relax. It makes you think twice before saying to yourslef ” I wish I was a princess”. This book is always running questions through your mind and make you want to find out more. the boo keeps you on the edge of your chair. It is so good that it is like a newberry award book.

Dear J.K. Rowling,
Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix is great and a highly recommended for all ages kind of book. It’s has lot’s of suspense and is very exciting. I’d recommend this for all ages because it’s exciting with some action, but nothing to cruel for the little ones to read. I’ve read every single one of your books and ket me tell you I am a very big fan. I liked th Order of the Phoenix one the best. I wanted to congratulate you for the success you’ve had for writing these books and I will be reading them all again and again and again.

This novel is very captivating but lacks direction. I can understand what the author is trying to say but it takes awhile for him to reach the point. Some areas are long winded and full of extraneous passeges while others are concise and straight foward. In several scenes of the novel there is excitement and action but some how stops in a hurry. This indicates that the author might have hurried through this book to continue his long Crique Du Freak saga. Overall this can be a great novel, with all the given corrections that is.

Dear Brian Selznick:
I am proud to say that I have read your book, Hugo Cabret. I found this book extremely amusing. I agree with the Caldecott organization that awarded Hugo Cabret with the 2008 Caldecott award. Since so many copies were sold, I am sure the many fans agree with the award as well. The one thing I enjoyed was the pictures. They were very clear and helped to tell the story. The story was also clear and well written. It was organized in a flowing manner. I had no problems reading it. I would reccommend this book to anyone, especially kids. I liked that there were mysteries around each bend, even though the automan was fixed and its secrets revealed. You still kept me on the edge of my seat. It was very suspenseful.
Sincerely,
Emma the Critic

This novel was very captivating because the descriptions was so clear and so thick with detail that I seen the pictures of what was going on in the book in my mind like I was watching a movie. The book was also exhilarating because it kept me reading to see what happens next in the story and if the main character will reach his main goal, or DIE trying. Sometimes in the book Perry and Jesse would be so close to solving the problem and all of a sudden something else comes up and throws everything off again making the problem they have into a even greater one! Plus speaking of problems you made the bad guy so scary he even scares me because he just like Jeepers Creepers, he senses your faer and then tracks you down like a fox and a hound. Mary I bet that if you made any more nnovels they would be just as fantastic as this one!

Wow Garth this is one of the best novels i read all year. Its just how i like it with lots of exictment and adventures but a twist of mysteriy in ther as well! I think that this book is like a diamond in a box of rubys, hard to find but well worth the effort. The words paint a picture in my mind so that i find myself laughing when the main charter is laughing and hurt when hes hurt. It has so many twists and turns that theres almost no way to geuss whats gonna happen next! If all of your books are like this then you can expect much, much more readers!

A.A Milne this book is the most awesome’s book ever. I love this book so much. I like this book so much because Winnie-the-Pooh is so cute. He is so cute and when i read this it is so detailed and when i read it i get a mind movie in my head of what is happening and i think that this book deserves a Newberry Novel prize. Sometimes in this book Winnie tries to figure out problem’s that no one would think of, i like that because i like when people start to come up with idea’s that no one else would think of of. When he tries to figure out how he will solve the problem and the way’s of fixing the problem is so cool because it’s creative and thoughtful. out of all the Winnie-the-Pooh book’s i enjoyed this one the most because Winnie get’s into alot of problem’s but as they find more thing’s out about the problem’s his best friend christopher robin help’s him to figure out the salution. I dont think that Mrs. Milne could ever write a book so enjoyable.

Dear Terry Spencer Hesser,
This is the most compelling book I have read this year. It’s definetly a book I would like to buy so I can have it forever. I enjoy reading this book because it’s humorous but still very sensitive at the same time. For the first time in my life I actually loved reading. I would have to say it was on of the weirdest books I ever read. My favorite parts is when she becomes more and more troubled because you never know what’s going to happen. This book is really brilliant and I cant wait to read another one of your books.
Your friend,
Anela Ermitano

This novel is awesome. I think that reading Evil Genius was the best book I read for about 1 and 1/2 years. I thought that reading some parts of the book was difficult but the others just blew me away. For example when Cadel found where his dad was it seemed like before that he wouldn’t find him because he looked on the internet and never found anything so it was like whoa! When I read this I thought that it was just another book that was boring but this kept me reading and it made it excellent. When I was on the first page I was just as excited as I was through the whole book. Thank you for writing this book. I bet that if you wrote more books then they would either be just as excellent or even better than this!

I really liked this book, it captures my attention. The book the Kite Rider was an extreme accomplishment. The Main character uh Haoyou is a great kite rider. The book is like a roller-coaster, it passes through sad times and happy times. It makes you want to read more and more that you just cant stop. I could see every little detail in my mind. Ms. McCaughrean you are an excellent author and i do hope that I read another one of your books.

Denise this novel is the best novel that I have ever read. The action and suspense just makes the book want to read it and keep reading it. I also like cowboys so the cowboy races and the runaways from the Bluecoats makes the book real exciting. I like how you mixed the white people with the colored people and even the indians during the prejudice times to make them see how there all freinds. Even when Midnight is keep trying to find his parents but there is always another thing keeping him from getting do his final destination.
Sincerely,
Micah Carter

This book is about a boy who loves to go fishing for lobsters and makes money doing it. He is an out going young man that owns his own boat and motor. What keeps me reading is the imidry and use of similies and metifors. The author is a good writer when it comes to out of this world sories. When I first saw this book on the shelf in mrs helms room I thought that I and the kid in this story both like to be out on the water catching something or in a boat all day doing some thing besides watching tv. This charechters name is crhistopher kidd.

Dear Margaret Haddix,
Your book, Among the Hidden, is one of the best novels I’ve EVER read! It’s a very suspensfull yet interesting book. I thought that this book was on a scale of 1-10…a 10!!! My most favorite part of this novel is when Luke sees Jen and walks to her house. She Tackles him down thinking he’s a rober. LOL! That’s a real funny part. This book actually prevented me from watching T.V. I was so into it and the cliff-hanfger chapters are amazing. This book is a real non-stop thriller!
Sincerly,
Spencer Paulino

Dear Eric Berlin,
Your book is so awesome!! All the mystery and thriller put in this book made it at the top of my favorite book list. I espically liked how you added extra puzzles in the novel to not only stomp us but educate us with new found knowledge of learning about new puzzles, in which i thought would be a great idea to share with others. Finally i want to ask you a question “how do you come up with such great ideas to make a novel?”. Hope you can back to me on that keep it up Mr.Berlin because your doing a wonderful job.
sincerely,
KELI’I KAILIPAKA

Cynthia, your book is an outstanding work of art. It is action-packed flash into the Vietnam War. It shows all the responsibilities of a dog and it’s handler. Leading thousands of people through unknown lands and with one slip everyone could die. The book and all the emotions and words pulls you into the war with Rick, the dog handler, and Cracker, the real hero, in other words the dog. All the training that they had to go through to make it in Vietnam. Starting as worse enimies and then ending up as a team that is inspirable.

My book is Julie of the Wolfs. The book was so good, I like the book the book has a lot of action parts and that is what I am intested in. The part that i don’t like is when she goes away and then comes back to the village. I don’t like it b/c well it doesn’t make any sense that she goes somewhere and she doesn’t take enough food to last her. She was smart enough to come back to the village and get food. Other then that it was awsome and you can say that too b/c it won the Newberry award. The book is awsome!!!
April 30th, 2008 at 2:48 pm
Dear Sunny, Violet, and Claus,
Isn’t it scary to be chased and attacked by a mad man that is so selfish and wants your fortune of money! I would be so scared that I would have guards around my house. But the thing that confused me is that why didn’t O Lauf ever get caught and arrested for all the bad things that he did with the orphans. Your books are so outstanding and mysterious! Other than those scary parts, I would totally love to read your up coming books! This is going to be Great!
April 30th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
Lemony, your book is a great piece of adventure and the book is good because of all the adventure you put in the novel. I like how you said this book wasnʻt a happy book in the beginning and you gave a heads up of what it is. It gives all the roles of each person. I like how you had this novel in a series and you keep on having their evil uncle come back each time they manage to escape. I find this novel very interesting and sad. It shows that this book is a tragety and I hope to read the next novel. I love how you always improve the pages of your novel series each time and that is what makes the next novel more exciting.
April 30th, 2008 at 2:53 pm
Your novel is very awesome. I think it is so incredibe that I wish I was in it and part of the book. My favorite character is iron man because the way he is half man and half robot so he can connect to a robo suit and can shoot rays, can fly,and do other things. So if I can pick someone to be is iron man. Also I know everyone should have one copy of your book to see how interestin it is!!!!
April 30th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
The book Silverfin was a huge hit. Also that this book was inspiring to me because I always wanted to be a spy, so this book encourages me to be a spy. This book should have an award because it was so great it was actually perfect. Your book was a piece of art and it has a lot of action. That is what made this book awesome. Best book I ever READ!!!!!
April 30th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
Dear author,
Your book that I read is the best book that I ever read so far. It should be awarded for the newberry award because this book is so good that the funnist parts were so funny that when I read it again, it is still funny. I also liked it when Htere is some tips on how to be guys, I can really learn from it. The only parts I hate is when there is only a chapter with no funny parts to cheer me up when I am depressed but most of all, I like this book that you have wrote for other people to read. If I was the publisher of this book I would be so happy
that I would keep this book until I die! If this book did not exsist, I would be so mad because I like your stories that you wrote when you were a kid, what you liked to draw and how you lived your life, it really inspires me to look up to someone like you. I hope that you have a great life and keep writing books!
From,
Micah Kaaihue

Dear Dave Pelzer,
Your book is a heart touching book and I really had a feeling for you. I trully am sorry about your life. I hope that eventually your life will clear up, and you will have freedome just like you should. The part that i liked is when you are in foster care. I liked this part, because I felt that you were having a good time with the other children. This made me happy, because I could not stand reading about you horrible mother, abusing you. I think that i was acting weird when you were getting abused, because i could not stop reading, eventhough i was unhappy. Your book drew attention to my eyes, because I knew how muck my parrents cared about me. I think that ypou should of had the right to have food, freedom, and clean clothes to wear to school everyday. All parrents should provide these things for you. The part that i did not like was…..i dunno if i had a part that i disliked. Annyways, my point is that no kid should be treated like how your mother did to you.
Yours,
Kaitlyn Ashida

Mike Lupica, your books are so awsome and it is very good to read. All the books you wrote were the bomb because it has inspired me by the title and by the cover of all of your books. If you keep on making inspiring novels then i am always going to buy your novel and i will always read your novel. This book is a tragedy because it will teach you about life things that are really good like truth, belief, courage, and many more. I would love to read your books. Your book is a great piece of sports and how to play sports and i know every one would love to read your books.
April 30th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
Lemony Snicket, your book is outstanding because it’s adventurous and mysterious. It’s awesome because it tells me about how the Baudelaires stick together. The book is about action and how the Baudelaires solve their own mysteries. I hope you write more books because I don’t want to find another intresting series to read.
April 30th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
Dear Judy Blume,
Your book is a wonderful piece of artwork. I like how you explain to the reader in your point of view what goes on in a normal 12-year old girls life like Margaret Simon, it seems to me that you really understand what a girl would think in the situations that Margaret gets herself into. I enjoyed reading about the drama and suspense you deliver in your book “Are you there God? It’s me Margaret”. Your book will be added into the top 5 of my favorite books list. I would like to read another one of your masterpieces because you make me use my imagination to draw a picture in my head what is happening in your words.
April 30th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
Dear David,
I really loved your book!It taught me many of lessons on how to live life. You really used a good word choice. I mean The book is sooo Great that I cant put it down! The best part of the book or the part of the novel that left me hanging was the part when John and his dad got into a fight. That part is really interesting because John gets so furious that at one point he lashed out at his father with all his feelings. You did a awesome job at this book.On a scale from one to ten i would give you a ten! Keep up the good work and I am really looking forward to reading another one of your books.

Asta Bowen, your book was amazing, it’s heart touching and a great book to read. I love how you make the journey to find there home very interesting. Many things are happening and you distract the reader and they don’t know what is going to happen next. When I started to read this book it was hard to put it down. If I had to rate this book from a one to a ten I would give it a ten.
Sincerely,
Caitlyn DeSilva

O-M-G Louis this book is awesome. It is so good that I had to read it twice. It is filled with action. It is kind of weird because at first it feels like it is in the past, but then when you get more in the book it feel like it’s in the future. When I was reading the book I could see everything in my mind like I was in they’re world. The book just pulls you in they’re world and make you want to read it even more. I never wanted to put the book down. Also in the book it can have some weird parts like the part with the stirlings. This book is just the greatest.

Congrates on one more great book.

The action is making me want to keep on reading it and never put it down. This book is very detailed and I like how you make the book very intresting for other people to read. I like how you detailed your two very intresting chapters: the market place and Dragons Powder. Its cool when describe how the mother rat had to put the powder into the Dragons food.

Anthony your book is awsome! I love how you focus on a event that so detaled iIcan imagine it as a movie. You also have a good taste of great and dangerouse adventure that makes me so addicted i just cant stop reading your books. And I like how you make small event sound so important and real. Dear James Howe,
I love your book ‘The Misfits’ because you are so descriptive, and you can actually picture what’s happening in your head, and its like you’re really there. I love how you included all types of kids in your book. Especially the ones who just dont seem to fit it, AKA, the Misfits. You write about things that happen in schools everyday, and people that really do exist, which I think is genius.
May 2nd, 2008 at 2:38 pm
Dear author, I would like to put my 2 cents in about your book max comedy. I would say that you could work on your word choice, that always spices up the book. Also I think you could work on the funny things because some of your jokes are really dumb they dont make sence. Other than that I think your book is great. I look forward to your next book I’m sure you will do great!!!
May 2nd, 2008 at 2:43 pm
Dear, Horowitz, Anthony your book Point blank was such a good book. You want to know why I think your book is alsome; well I think that the action is intense. The description made it so real. I felt like I was in the middle of the action.

Your book is so awesome Elisa! Your book “ BLOOD ON THE RIVER” is the best and most interesting book I have ever read. Most of the parts I have read tell me about the new world, which is Virginia and the different characters seem really interesting. The different characters are Samuel, Captain John Smith, Richard, Reverend Hunt, and Master Wing field. One of the parts a like is when they meet the Indians. They teach them different words and they give them food and they trade. The part I least like is when they have to wait to get to the new world. Part of the crew almost died and left the ship. I also don’t like the part when the boy James had to run to the ships because of the Indians attacked the crew. I think your book should get a Newberry award medal.
May 2nd, 2008 at 2:57 pm

I appreciate some good facts in your book, Uncle Johns Slightly Irregular Bathroom Reader but try to make it less boring. Some stories are interesting but the boring stories are just a waste of paper. But I liked the story where the lady died in her car just mysteriously. You should have more stories like that in your books.I also like those funny newspaper articles. The things that I didnt like were the stories on ancient egypt.I hope you change things for the better.
May 7th, 2008 at 2:47 pm

Sam!!
Your novel deserves more then just an annor back award. It should get a newberry award. This would be so great if they would make this book best seller of the year. They way you write your patterns of clues in this book. It was cool when you rote that the two girls moved in to that scary house that the moonlight man lived in . They solved the great and mostyreous death of THE MOON LIGHT MAN.

Dear Mrs. Adeline Yen Mah,
Your story left me interested in Chinese history. I like how you added history facts to the story as well. I think that your book is five star thumbs up book. Your facts are in order and help us make sense of the proverbs. I think your book is extraordinary and is a great way to learn Chinese history.
May 9th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
David, the novel that you wrote is so good! I think that it should earn a newbery metal. I like how you explained how your mom abused you. I think that you did a good thing, because you tried to protect your mother by lying to your teachers about child abuse. If I were you, then I would blab out the secret between my mother and I. I think that you should keep your readers informed with what is happening in your life. How are you going to survive? Where are you going to live? What is your plan for your future? How are going to get food? Those are questions that I would like to be answered. Your fan,Kaitlyn Ashida

Its Not Easy Being Bad is a good novel that’s very understandable. Every time you’re reading this novel you can get a clear mind movie of what going on, what good about that is it makes you want to read more. The characters are not only unique, funny and easy to relate to they have very fun personalities and they are always unpredictable. I also love this book because you can understand the lesson it’s trying to teach you. The lesson you would learn from reading this novel is to be your self it’s not important to be popular because you will make many of friends by being your self. Awesome job Cynthia Voigt!
