{"id":1117,"date":"2014-02-21T11:00:30","date_gmt":"2014-02-21T21:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogsksbeedu.wpenginepowered.com\/lekihara\/?p=1117"},"modified":"2014-02-24T08:41:28","modified_gmt":"2014-02-24T18:41:28","slug":"twinsies-vine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/lekihara\/2014\/02\/21\/twinsies-vine\/","title":{"rendered":"Twinsies Vine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ever wish you had an identical twin?\u00a0 Now you can!\u00a0 Check out this example of how you can interact with your &#8220;video&#8221; twin . . .<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Split Screen Twins\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GctvVGWMCPg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Steps:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Compose a MS or MWS with rule of thirds with you standing on one side of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Hit record and stay in the frame for about 10 seconds, then walk to the other side of the frame and do another action for 10 seconds.\u00a0 You can interact by talking or waving as in the example.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Stop recording and turn in camera to get a card reader to import your footage.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Editing &#8211; you will use the need to edit your video by using layers and cropping to create a split screen.\u00a0 First put your clip into the timeline on the V1 layer. \u00a0 Get the same clip and this time put it on the V2 layer right on top of each other.<\/p>\n<p>Then look in the Effects Tab (on the bottom left squre) and open the VIDEO EFFECTS folder, then the TRANSFORM and you then will find CROP.\u00a0 Drage the effect and drop it on to BOTH clips in the sequence.\u00a0 Now you will have the ability to crop out one side of the video to make a split screen.<\/p>\n<p>Look for the EFFECT CONTROLS tab in the top left box.\u00a0 Crop should be an option and click on the triangle so it points down.\u00a0 Now you have the options for Left, Top, Down, Right.\u00a0 On your V2 layer, choose either the Left or Right depending where you are standing and hover on the 0.0% that\u02bbs in orange and you can now move it so that it\u02bbs about 50% (or wherever it needs to be to reveal the person).<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, edit out any extraneous parts in the beginning and end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ever wish you had an identical twin?\u00a0 Now you can!\u00a0 Check out this example of how you can interact with your &#8220;video&#8221; twin . . .
