KS Connect provides grades on-line, progress reports, registration, schedule of classes, and more. \u00a0In order to access KS connect, parents and students must have individual accounts with own username and password. Teacher upload grades every two weeks.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"KS blackboard\" href=\"https:\/\/bb.ksbe.edu\/webapps\/login\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Blackboard<\/strong><\/a>: On-line student learning tool.\u00a0 Students are encouraged to use this site when they forget to write homework assignments or they are absent from school.\u00a0 Parents have \u201cguest\u201d access to check student assignments. See a teacher if you have any questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kamehameha.edmodo.com\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Edmodo<\/a>:\u00a0 <\/strong>A secure social learning networking site for teachers and students. This site is similar to Facebook, but with teacher supervision. Teachers will monitor and moderate this site which will be use for educational appropriate communications and assignments. Teachers will use this site to teach proper social networking to students, because they feel social networking is an important skills students needs to master to be successful in this age of technology. Students who do not follow social networking guidelines will be removed from the site until they can demonstrate a maturity to participate in an appropriate manner.
