Friday, November 28th, 2008Dear Parents,
We would like to reminder you of two programs happening this month and would like to ask for your coopeartion. Please note that December 12th is a FULL day of school and December 19th is a 1/2 day (school ends at 11:30 a.m.).
The first is our Christmas Program “Love Came Down” on Friday, December 12th at Kekühaupi`o Gym. Parents are invited and it is recommended that you come early to allow time to find parking and seating. Parking will be available on the KES Lower Parking Lots and along Bishop Drive. Security will be one hand to direct traffic. Shuttle buses will pick up by the Grade 4 Garden (by Room 20 & KES Dining Hall). The program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. We would like to ask that your children please come dressed as follows:
K-1: Dress Up or Christmas Clothes with Athletic Shoes. Boys: slick back hair. Girls: Christmas Present Bows or Accessories in Hair (the bigger the better!!)
2-3: Boys: Aloha Shirts, Jeans and Athletic Shoes. Girls: Knee or Ankle length Aloha or Christmas Dress and Athletic Shoes.
4-5: Boys: White Uniform Top with Uniform Shorts, Athletic Shoes and Christmas Accessories that don’t fall off. Girls: White Uniform Top with Uniform Skirts/Shorts; Athletic Shoes and Christmas Accessories that don’t fall off.
6: Band Uniform with Athletic Shoes. Uniform pants for boys and Uniform skirt or pants for girls.
The second is our Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop Founder’s Day Program on Friday, December 19th. This program includes students and staff from Preschool-Grade 12. Sorry, but parents cannot be accomodated. Please note that school will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. and more information will follow.
Please ensure that your children wears the Special Events Uniform on this day:
K-3: Boys: White Uniform Shirt, Uniform long pants, Athletic shoes. Girls: White Uniform Shirt, Uniform Skirt; Athletic Shoes.
4-6: Boys: White Uniform Shirt, Uniform long pants, Belt, Athletic shoes. Girls: White Uniform Shirt, Uniform Skirt, Athletic Shoes.
