Library Borrowing Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

A maximum of 5 items may be checked out from the Learning Center at any time.<\/p>\n

Loan periods & late assessment fees:<\/p>\n

*2 weeks for general collection<\/p>\n

$0.10 per day for each item<\/p>\n

*1 week for Hawaiian collection<\/p>\n

$0.50 per day for each item<\/p>\n

*2 days for DVD, CD, video collection<\/p>\n

$1.00 per day for each item<\/p>\n

Library materials can be renewed for another loan period if there is no hold on the item.<\/p>\n

Students will be notified by email when materials are overdue. Students will receive 2 email reminders before it becomes an obligation.<\/p>\n

Lost Library Books Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Payment for lost books (cost is per book)<\/p>\n

*$25.00 + $5.00 service fee for general collection<\/p>\n

*Replacement cost + $5.00 service fee for Hawaiian collection<\/p>\n

*OR replace book + $5.00 service fee<\/p>\n

Service fee is NOT<\/strong> refundable. All obligations are to be paid at Keku`iapoiwa Learning Center.<\/p>\n

Textbook Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Student IDs are required to check out textbooks from the LC. Return textbooks when you are done to the LC.<\/p>\n

*If textbooks are returned by someone else, a $5.00 lost textbooks fee is applied to your account.<\/p>\n

*All semester books not returned by the end of the first semester, will be assessed a $5.00 late textbook fee. You will be notified prior to the assessment fee being applied to return your textbook.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT: Hold on to your book that was checked out to you. Know your book number.<\/p>\n
