There are also additional protections enabled while connected to GlobalProtect to help mitigate online risks and vulnerabilities. For these reasons students should ALWAYS be connected to GlobalProtect when connecting to a network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"how-to-connect\"><strong>How to Connect<\/strong><br>Note: If prompted for the portal address, enter: gp.ksbe.edu<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect to a WiFi network<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the GlobalProtect icon in the top right icon bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your username (i.e. k##______) and password<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"troubleshooting\"><strong>Troubleshooting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Refresh the connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If refreshing the connection doesn\u2019t work then restart your laptop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If restarting your laptop doesn\u2019t work then go into the settings of&nbsp;Global&nbsp;Protect&nbsp;so that&nbsp;you can delete your portal address (<a href=\"http:\/\/gp.ksbe.edu\/\">gp.ksbe.edu<\/a>) and&nbsp;re-add it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If&nbsp;deleting and&nbsp;re-adding the portal address doesn\u2019t work then restart your laptop as well as restart&nbsp;your&nbsp;home wifi network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If restarting your laptop and your network doesn\u2019t work, please contact us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"faqs\"><strong>FAQs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to Connect | Troubleshooting | FAQs GlobalProtect is a VPN service that allows student laptops the ability to connect to KS network resources even when not physically on-campus.
