1- Pick your favorite quote of the two that you did, write a short paragraph that explains the meaning or message that you interpret from the quote. Please don’t rephrase the quote or use the same words to explain yourself.

2- Complete the 30 second video project, make sure all details are completed.
- video in a folder, quicktime format on the flashdrive
- printed Plan of Action, including group members and roles
- finished poster 8.5×11 @ 240ppi, put on the flashdrive in video folder

3- Molokai Project Choices

a- make a poster 16×20 or 20×16 @240ppi and pick from the following:
- a poster that tells why we went
- a poster that tells what we did
- a poster that shows the importance of the trip
- a poster that gives a special insight into the trip
- a combination of the above

b- make a short video of one of the things that we did, give some information and your insight

Ornament
- open your ornament
- select the white, inverse selection
- move and resize on the Christmas wreath
- save and keep open

Christmas card from Illustrator
- go to public/techclass get the Largecardtemplate.psd
- put on desktop
- open
- go to file open as a smart object, open illustrator file
- select all, move from illustrator to photoshop
- delete ohia, change name, delete other KS seal and name
- save as psd, flatten
- print with preview
- do page setup, print a draft on paper
- after checking, print, select copies and pages
- go to paper feed, change to bypass tray,
- make sure paper is in bypass tray of selected printer
- print, and cut to make card, turn in for evaluation

Complete a worksheet
- write down the names of our classmates that you completed a name poster for
- completed means printed
- write down other things, projects that you also completed, such as cookbook insert, Christmas card..

Due today is a Christmas ornament of yourself
- needs to be on white background
- all text, picture, design, needs to be within the ornament
- this is not a poster
- we will take the ornament and put it on our PhotoShop Christmas tree
- this will be printed for display

Requirements:
- white background
- put a hook on the ornament, so it can be hung from the tree
- work in a 4″x4″ size at 240 ppi
- submit as a psd with all layers
- you will be graded on the creative use of layers, filters, modes, masks…

- Final finished size is 4.5 x 6.25 at 240 or 300 ppi

Camera Raw Project

Camera Raw Project
- get Camera-Raw-Work folder in the public TechClass
- of the 10 photos, work with 6
- each needs to be presented to bring out the best of the picture
- bottom left should be 8 bits, 240 ppi
- keep in mind that you will crop this to a 4×6
- open in PhotoShop, save as give it name, format psd
- after completing all 4, make a new file, title it, width 12.75″, height 13″, 240 ppi, rgb color
- pull out guides to .25″ all the way around
- arrange all six of your finished pictures on one sheet without them touching
- Save as psd
- flatten image save as tiff
- put in drop box
