Molokai Group Project due
- turn in your part of the project
- look over the text, make sure you’ve covered all the areas asked for
Molokai home page
- start construction of a Molokai index page
- this will be the home page that will link you part of the project with other team members
Requirements:
- 860 x650 pixels at 72 ppi ( this is different, custom size)
- intro to Molokai trip
- links to the 4 places
- a separate area box 5.5″h x 5″w, this will be a movie holder
Molokai slide show
- you will construct a Molokai slide show in iMovie
- must have 12 pictures each playing no longer than 3 secs each
- turn off Ken Burns effect
- must have transitions
- title page, no credits
- share as quicktime cd format
- music, your choice to fit the mood of the pictures

Web Site Folder – Portfolio
- folder with only first name, lowercase
- index html page, named index.html
- images folder, named Images
- 2 other class html pages, named (math.html)
- all images used are in the images folder
- run your site from web browser make sure all links work
- turn in folder
- Due Thursday 22nd – tomorrow
- All psd files should be put in another folder named firstname-psdweb
- Turn in due Thursday 22nd
Next Project
Molokai Puzzle Project
- find a picture to make into a puzzle
- No internet, must be something we own
- Need to have a short info about the picture
- Need to have a 3″x3″ 300 ppi picture
- Need to crop another picture at 8″x8″ 300 ppi which will be the puzzle, turn in for printing
- On a 6″x6″ at 300 ppi, put the 3×3 picture and your short info,
- decorate as this will be the cover for the puzzle.

1- design a personalized header
use Photoshop, 1.5″ x 7.0″ at 72 ppi
no copied logos, or internet artwork
use pictures, illustrator art, text..
-save as a psd and jpeg at medium
Turn in psd on jumpdrive
2- make a folder with your first name lowercase
put your jpeg in here not the psd
3- make a folder in that name it: Images
4- construct your web page in photoshop

640 x 480 pixels at 72 ppi RGB color, 8 bit, white

-Complete Illustrator Christmas Card
Must complete this:
- Make a “luggage tag” for a child’s Christmas gift
size is 3.5 x 2.25 at 300 ppi (landscape)
tags will go on the donated gifts
must have 2 sides
must have border edge to cut
when done with one side, do another
put together on a 5×4 sheet with both sides as a layer

Illustrator Christmas Card due today
- Make a folder and put all your art files that you used for the card
- Put the photoshop file with smart objects and border
- Border, chage background to layer 0, use blending options, stroke,change to inside edge
- Get the 7×10card template
- flatten your photoshop file and move on the template
- position at the bottom
- used cmd-T and hold shift-option when resizing to get it within the guides
- Save with your name and 7×10
- Turn in the entire folder.
