Over \u00a0the summer, the integrated web cameras on senior student lap-tops were enabled. allowing teachers the opportunity to incorporate them into class lessons.<\/p>\n

To use the cameras, students will need to use a program like MS Movie Maker Live , which \u00a0allows for recording and editing. \u00a0Here is a great tutorial on the basics of Movie Maker.\u00a0http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/education\/en-us\/teachers\/guides\/Pages\/windows-live-movie-maker.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n

There are other online or for purchase programs that use web cams, and may be of better use in certain situations. \u00a0 Make sure to review the safety of, and terms of use for any other program you select before you use it. \u00a0 They should meet KS web council guidelines. \u00a0See your campus ITS if you need help.<\/p>\n
