When do I need to submit my Food Service Request (FSR)?
Your approved FSR must be received by Food and Nutrition Services two weeks prior to your event.
What is the minimum number of people to order from Food and Nutrition?
We can customize and tailor your menu to fit your needs. We can service 2 to 2,000.
We do have a minimum for buffets, however, we have many other options that will take care of your guest.
Can I have my order delivered?
Yes, we can deliver your order.  For groups that are not part of the Kapälama Campus there may be a delivery charge. Ask the special events coordinator if delivery charges apply to your event.
How much food should I order?
That’s always a tough one.  If you can tell us how many people you expect we can figure out the exact amount of food for your event.
How much will it cost?
It depends on what you have decided to serve to your guests, and the number of
guests you expect. Our special events coordinator will work with you to stay within your budget.
When do I have to give you a final count?
We would like to have your final count two weeks prior to your event to ensure we have ordered enough food to serve all of your guests
Do you supply tables and chairs?
No, tables and chairs need to be requested from our Physical Plant Department.
Do you cater for private (outside) parties?
We generally do not cater to the general public.  We service the needs of departments within Kamehameha Schools. If you are not certain, ask your department head or Mr. Gordon Morris, Director of Food and Nutrition Services at 842-8997.
Who will set up and clean up?
We will deliver, and set up for your event.  If you need service during your event, labor charges may apply.  Ask the special events coordinator about charges that may apply to your event.
When will equipment be picked up?
We will try to pick up equipment the same day. However, in some instances we may pickup the next day or on Monday if your event is on a Friday, or Saturday.
What information do I need to supply?
All the information that we need to service you is generally on the FSR form. contact information, name and phone number how many guestswhere the function will be held date and time food service is expected, name of your group,type of service menu ,equipment and linen needs, charge center for your department
