In preparation for Easter the keiki made and decorated Easter baskets from recycled milk/juice cartons. This activity tied into what we were learning about Earth Day (on Friday, April 22nd).
We also had an awesome Easter egg hunt! A big mahalo to Aunty Isha and Aunty Charmie for hiding over 500 eggs! Also, mahalo for all of your egg donations and goodies. In addition to this festive day, the keiki decorated “Bunny Cakes.” Each child received a cupcake, jelly beans for the eyes and nose, twisters for whiskers, marshmallows for lips, and a cookie for ears. Yummy!
Have a wonderful 3-day weekend and HAPPY EASTER!!!
