Mon., Jan. 21: \u00a0Martin Luther King, Jr. Day- NO SCHOOL! \u00a0Enjoy your ohana time together…maybe even post a comment to our blog (hint! hint!) \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Tues., Jan. 22-Day 3: Security Appreciation Day! \u00a0The Haum\u0101na of Kula Ha\u02bbaha\u02bba honor our wonderful Security team who greet us daily and keep us safe! \u00a0They are the first to ho\u02bbokipa us onto campus and the last to send us off with an “a hui hou!” \u00a0Thank you Security!<\/p>\n

Thurs. Jan. 24-Day 5: It N\u0101 Koa Reward Day #5! \u00a0Don\u02bbt forget it is Pajama Day! \u00a0How fun, you can sleep in an extra 5 minutes because you can roll out of bed and come right to school! \u00a0Well…maybe brush your teeth first! \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0I’m proud to report to our 5B Ohana…all of the 5B haum\u00e5na qualify to participate in the fun activity! \u00a0See you all in your pjs tomorrow! \u00a0Don’t forget to wear your wristband! \u00a0** \u00a0Due to time constraints on Friday, 5B will begin preliminaries on Thursday….look for parent update in student planners! \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fri., Jan. 25-Day 6: \u00a0Charles Reed Bishop K-12 Convocation at Koai\u02bba Gymnasium at 8:15am. \u00a0Dress White mandatory as we honor the husband of our beloved Ke Ali\u02bbi Bernice Pauahi Bishop! \u00a0This is also Speech Festival Preliminaries…ALL 5B students will be sharing their speeches (Hilo Legends) with their classmates today. \u00a0Top 5 will be selected.<\/p>\n

HEADS UP FOR NEXT WEEK: \u00a0Monday will be Semi Finals for Speech Festival- Only Top 5 to present on this day. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ohana invited on Wednesday, Jan. 30th to join us for the Finals at Lunalilo Hale @ 8:00am.<\/span>\u00a0 The top 2 from every class will be sharing their speeches on stage!<\/span><\/p>\n
