\nHere’s an update on IXL Math. You may have noticed that IXL Math gets assigned on Mondays and are due on Fridays from the assignments written down in your child’s planner daily. The expectation is that the specific IXL concept be completed to MASTERY level by Friday. I do realize that there is no weekend time to work on it. It is intentional on my part. I believe that IXL practice (concepts are already covered in class prior to it being assigned)is very important, I also lessen the homework load to allow time to work on it daily during the week to allow continuous practice instead of one huge chunk of time, and most importantly, it doesn’t interfere with ohana time on the weekends! That time together to enjoy is so priceless!
