Digging into Trash

Our 1st graders are learning about TRASH! Thats right, trash… also its impact and what we can do with it.  They even got to dig into a bag of it to see what is really inside.  image image image image

They even learned about the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Team building with bridges

In the beginning of the year we started will learning about the importance of team work and time management.  We had 15 minutes to build a bridge using simple materials.  Some were successful, but all understood the importance of a team and communication…image image
