\"\"<\/a>Aloha n\u014d k\u0101kou, I am Kumu Kehau<\/a> and I currently teach both Algebra 1 and Geometry.\u00a0 My philosophy of education has been formed on the strong belief that education provides individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to understand and actively participate within today\u2019s ever-changing world. Higher education helps to sustain the human values that contribute to individual and collective well-being, and is the basis for lifelong learning. It inspires confidence, provides skills, and enables people to become more self-reliant and aware of opportunities while enhancing the quality of one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Interests<\/strong><\/p>\n

My fondest memories come from spending my childhood at the beaches of Waimanalo on the island of Oa`hu.\u00a0 Thus, swimming in the ocean and relaxing on the beach is my favorite past time.\u00a0 On the creative side, I love combining geometric patterns and vibrant colors when creating unique quilts for my family and friends.<\/p>\n
