Looks about right! Measure to confirm!
POST-LAB TEST … BE READY for the test on Thursday & Friday!
GOOD LUCK – Hope you study!
All picture frames (finished or not!) will be graded on Wednesday afternoon (10/31/07) and the final grades will be submitted to Mr. K for the first trimester.
Take the time to do a good job! It’ll be worth the effort!
Each pair of students must complete one NWNG Poster and one Pa’ina Day Poster using Photoshop and the digital pictures that were taken on 9/20/07. Be sure to properly cite the source of your water slide photos if they were taken from a website.
Do not print posters yet … place them in Mr. K’s drop box for grading when you are finished.
Report back to the computer lab starting Monday 9/24/07, but be sure to stop by the VTAM Lab to finish cutting the plexiglass and plywood sheets to fit your individually sized frame. Finished frames should have even coats of finish, nail holes filled with putty, and framer’s points holding in the wood and plexiglass (don’t peel paper off yet). Label each frame with your first and last name, c/o 2012, and Kamehameha Schools written clearly on the back.
Tech students are currently fabricating picture frames for use by our art students when displaying work at the annual art show at the East Hawai’i Cultural Center.
Got all your pieces? Do a good job sanding!
Glue and clamp …..
Cut your backing …..
Apply that Danish Oil …..
Secure with the Framer’s Points ….. Great Job!
8th grade Tech elective students need to report to the VTAM Lab on the following days to work on projects for Mrs. Nahulu-Kirsch and Mr. Kamisato:
BE ON TIME and READY TO WORK!
