Hāweo Awardees Recognized

ʻAlohikea and Ty were recognized on Tuesday for being awarded the Hāweo Award for the month of December. Both of these students worked hard to earn money to donate to our adopted families over the Christmas season. In addition, they contributed generously to our Pennies for Pauahi and the Operation Christmas Child project. ʻAlohikea regularly helps to feed the homeless on the weekends with her family in downtown Hilo. These awesome students truly demonstrate the meaning of Kahiaʻu… giving without expecting anything in return. Mahalo for your generous spirit!
