{"id":1091,"date":"2013-04-05T12:59:10","date_gmt":"2013-04-05T22:59:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogsksbeedu.wpenginepowered.com\/heeiapreschool2\/?p=1091"},"modified":"2013-04-05T12:59:20","modified_gmt":"2013-04-05T22:59:20","slug":"friday-april-5-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/heeiapreschool2\/2013\/04\/05\/friday-april-5-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Friday, April 5, 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TGIF!\u00a0 Aunty Amy was absent again today.\u00a0 There were a lot of happenings today.\u00a0 This morning, the children helped cut string beans, carrots, and spam (LITE) for our fried rice snack.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/heeiapreschool2\/files\/2013\/04\/2012-February-9-722.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1092\" alt=\"2012 February 9 722\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/heeiapreschool2\/files\/2013\/04\/2012-February-9-722-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/heeiapreschool2\/files\/2013\/04\/2012-February-9-722-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/heeiapreschool2\/files\/2013\/04\/2012-February-9-722.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>During outdoor play, we had a spontaneous water and sand day.\u00a0 Then, the water moved to the dirt in the Messy Materials area.\u00a0 It was fun day!!\u00a0 But more importantly, it was hands-on experiences that helped develop cognitive, motor, problem solving, and social skills.
