We did have a crayfish in our classroom brought to us by a student who went fishing in the rivers. He captured this crayfish using a net. He thought it would be great to have him in science class. Students loved to watch the crayfish climb up the tank as they would point their fingers at it.

What happened to the crayfish?
Unfortunately, the crayfish died after a few weeks. Not sure why because we were feeding it enough. Maybe it didn’t like the artificial food we were giving it. Probably not as tasty as what he/she ate in the wild.
Maybe we should of caught some guppies and put it with the crayfish so they can eat the guppies.
