Here are list of books that I’ve read or reference when using integrating technology into my class.  If you’d like to borrow them or check them out, let me know.

    • topics of chapters are: blogs, microblog-twitter, podcasts & vodcasts, wikis, social networks, virtual learning tools, virtual environments, specific tools (Evernote, Auadcity, Skype, Moodle, Voki, Wordel, Netvibes, etc.)
  • Strategies for the Tech-Savvy Classroom by Diane Witt
    • topics include: ethics & cyberethics, net smart and safely, online technologies
    • Part II in the book has specific unit/lesson examples of using technology in the class
  • Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts by Will Richardson, 3rd ed. & 2nd ed.
    • topics include: weblogs – pedagogy & practice, wikis, RSS feeds, Flickr, podcasting, social networks (facebook, ning)
    • 20 Cool Classroom Things to do with Blogs & Vlogs by Carole Marsh
      • book is a collection of actual lessons using blogs and vlogs in a variety of content areas
    • 20 Cool Classroom Things to do with Wikies by Carole Marsh
      • books is a collection of actual lessons using wikis
    • How to….Weave the Web into K-8 Science by David R. Wetzel
      • topics include: internet basics for science classroom, working with computer/laptops, virtual field trips, simulations, multimedia presentations, web-based learning centers, etc.
      • good list of web sites by topics, particularly for science
