The third graders are in full swing in learning all about the life cycle of the butterfly. Sometimes in nature it’s difficult to see the changes up close. A few years ago some students brought in caterpillars for the students to observe. While keeping the caterpillars in my room I had the opportunity to capture the amazing transformation of a caterpillar into its chrysalis. It’s so amazing to see how fast and how much work it takes the little caterpillar to just change. Watch for yourself. Enjoy!
