Questions to answer for this video post:
1. Solar Boat #1 – Why did this boat turn? How would you change it?
2. Solar Boat #2 – Why do you think this boat kept hitting the sides of the water lane? How wold you change it?
3. Solar Boat #3 – If this is a solar powered boat, why did it go so slow? How would you change it?
4. Solar Boat #4: How would you make sure that your boat doesn’t turn at the end? How would you change this boat?
I think solar boat #1 turned right cause there was to much weight on the right side! I truly have no idea why solar boat #2 kept hitting the side! Maybe solar boat #3 went slow because it kept hitting the side which maybe made the solar power weak! Also i truly don’t know an idea about question 4! sorry
1. The boat turned because it had more weight on one side then the other. I would fix it by adding more weight on the other side.
2.I think it kept hitting the side because it didn’t have a rudder. I would fix it by adding one.
3.It might have gone slow because maybe it was to heavy, I would make it louder.
4. I would make sure that I added a rudder.
I think that the boat turned because it had too much weight on on side. I would change it by trying to take off some weight from that side. Maybe that particular boat didn’t have a rudder to guide it. I would change it by adding a rudder. I think that the boat went slower because it didn’t have the correct materials to make it go fast. I would change it by trying to add something such as a propeller or another propeller to make it go faster. In order to make this boat not turn at the end would be to add a material to make it go straight.
- make a rudder
- I think there was too much weight . Take off weight.
- I think it went slow because the engine was weak. I would make less weight.
- make it a even weight.
The first boat turned because it had more weight on the right. 2nd boat: The rudder was probably not that good or the wind was catching and blowing the propeller. 3rd: The third boat had weight from the panel. Last: I would remove the motor from the front and put it on the bottom of the boat.
1. I think the boat is too heavy on one side.
2. Maybe The boat is too wide.
3. It is to heavy an it didn’t have any sun or power.
4. I would put a better rudder
:0
Solar boat #1- The boat had to much weight on one side. You could add a rudder so it will go straight.
Solar boat #2-The boat probably didn’t have a good rudder. I would make a better rudder.
Solar boat #3- The boat probably didn’t have enough sunlight or it was to heavy. I would make it lighter.
Solar boat #4- I would make a good rudder. I would make a strong rudder.
this boat turned because it had too much weight on 1 side i would change it by making the weight even. it hit the side of the lane because it was un even. Maybe it went slow because it wasn’t that sunny. i would balance the weight.
#1 -You would take the unnecessary weight off both sides and see if it works
#2 -Because of the unnecessary weight to change take off weight
#3- Maybe because of the sun and how sunny it is
#4-I dont know hope it doesn’t happen to me
#1 i would make the right side lighter because it is to heavy so it is going to the right.
#2 i think it was unstable and to wide.
#3 i would make it lighter.
#4 i would put a rudder on it
1. I think it turned because it had too much weight on one side. I would change it by either adding more weight on the lighter side or take weight from the heavy side.
2.Maybe there was wind. I do not know how I would change it.
3.their was not enough sun. I don’t know how I would change it.
4.idk
1. I think they never place it straight or it was heaver on the other side.
2. I don’t know answer to question.
3.I think the sun wasn’t strong enough.
4.I don’t know answer to question.
Solar Boat #1
This boat turned because there wasn’t enough power. I would fix it by making a new motor.
Solar Boat #2
I think this boat kept hitting the sides because of the rudder. I would make a new rudder.
Solar Boat # 3
I think this boat kept turning at the end because I’m not sure. But I would fix it by going through every part to figure out what the problem was.
1) I think the boat turned because maybe there was to much weight on one side so the opposite side turned. I would take weight off of the heavy side.
2) I think this boat kept hitting the sides because the spinning thing in the front didn’t have control. I would fix this by making the spinning thing more balanced by making it smaller.
3) I think this powered boat went slow because there was too much weight on it. I would just take what ever weight I don’t need.
4) I would make sure that the boat wouldn’t turn at the end by making it go straight by having equal weight on each side.
I think that the first boat turned because the rudder was not on well. I think that the second boat kept hitting the sides of the water lanes because there was a bit too much weight on one side of the boat. Maybe the boat went so slow because the solar panels were most likely not on good or the wires were not connected good enough. I would try to fix the wires or solar panels. I would make sure that everything on my groups boat would be connected and that it would have a good rudder. I would make sure that my propeller or rudder was straight.
Solar Boat #1 : This boat turned because maybe there was to much weight on one side. You could fix it by taking unnecessary weight off one side.
Solar Boat #2: I think think this boat kept banging each side because there was an uneven propeller. You could fix it by by straightening it out.
Solar Boat #3: I think it went slower because of the weather. A solar boat means powered by the sun There might not been any sun. You could fix this by testing the boat on a sunny day.
Solar Boat #4: You could make sure the boat doesn’t turn at the end by making the boat even and the propeller straight. You could change the boat by making all the equipment even.
1. There was too much weight on one side
2. Had no rudder
3. maybe sunlight was being blocked
4.I would try to find what ever is wrong then improve it
1. The boat turned because there was too much weight on one side.
2.There was ether no rudder or it was on uneven ground.
3.There was no sun to power the boat.
4.The boat should have a rudder.
1. had too much weight on one side.
2. Had no Rudder
3. THere was no sun
4. There was no rudder
