Once again I had a wonderful time with my 5th graders. The students were so focused on getting their circuits completed and really worked well in partners and in their table groups. With a limited supply of wires, batteries and bulbs, they had to share these in order to make my challenges work. Students were challenged to make several types of circuits: simple circuit, series circuit, parallel circuit. They even had time to create and try making their own circuits.
5th graders: What do you think about being able to document your own learning, explorations and projects in science by taking pictures or creating a video? How do you think we could make it work?
