October 28: 1B Moore & 1A Fortuna

Aloha e First Graders,

Weʻve been getting you ready for your field trip to Punalu`u. Youʻve learned about how Punalu`u got its name, the two types of honu that you may see there, what harms the honu. So today we took some time to create our own honu using paper plates. I hope you enjoyed the activity and took them home to show your family.

We also had some extra time to take Halloween pictures. Hereʻs a short movie of our Halloween pictures. Enjoy!

Have a safe and fun field trip to Punalu`u. I wish I could go with you folks. Itʻs a special and beautiful place.

Cheers, Ms. Chang
