What a huge success of a sale! On November 25th, 2008, $950 was raised for the Makana Fund which supports needy families within the KS `ohana. Thank you students and teachers who wrote fantastic books and are spurring others to write as well! Special mahalo to Michelle Trujillo and Noe Hussey, parent volunteers during the sale—you were such a BIG help!

Hope you will continue to write and publish books throughout the year! Our next sale will be held in May 2009 so turn in your manuscripts to Mrs. Sumida’s office mailbox whenever you feel ready.

Books may be fiction, non-fiction, about life experiences, whatever you are passionate about. You could even make it a family project!

Have fun and keep writing! The more you write, the better you get!
