ISLAND WIDE BLACKOUT
What were you doing on December 26, 2009, the night of the island wide blackout? Tell us YOUR story of what happened to you and/or your family. All the stories will be put into a collection and we’ll publish it in a special edition of the May 12th, 2009 GOLDEN PENCILS BOOK SALE!
Just be sure it’s typed and fully edited by an adult, then email it to ansumida at ksbe.edu or place a hard copy in Ms. Sumida’s mailbox in the office. Turn it in as soon as possible and no later than April 20, 2009. Once it’s approved, the Editorial Board will ask you to illustrate it.
