Aloha and Welcome to my Blog!
You will see that I have posted different types of entries to discover what can take place when using this kind of an online forum. I am excited about the possibilities!
I have included language lessons, music tutorials, a photo gallery, a digital story in movie form, a YouTube video feed, a few podcasts in iTunes, and a number of links to other sites I have built. Also included, are a few posted comments from visitors to my blog. Please feel free to leave a comment on any of the entries you visit.
Technological tools are evolving so quickly and they continue to become more and more user friendly. Hopefully, you will also catch the vision of where technology, such as this, is heading and where it can take us!
Mahalo nui for visiting,
Gayla

What skills do we need to teach our students to be successful in the 21st century?
The enGauge 21st Century Skills (READ MORE) states that the following is what is needed by students, citizens, and workers in the Digital Age:
– Digital-Age Literacy
– Inventive Thinking
– Effective Communication
– High Productivity
Do we, as educators, agree that the above mentioned are the most important skills to impart to our students?
Please feel free to post a comment by clicking on the title of this entry. Would like to start a dialogue, focusing on possible strategies to balance core curriculum and technological skill development.
