The children got together with their 3rd grade buddies to carve pumpkins, dig out the pulp, and separate the seeds.  Next week, the first graders will work as a team to count the seeds by grouping them in ones, tens, and hundreds.  Mahalo to all the parents who donated pumpkins (the Ohta\u02bbs, the Cabral\u02bbs, and the Koa\u02bbs) and to Aunty Sheri and Uncle Brandon for assisting with the carving.
