Welcome to my blog!  I’m currently the Instructional Technology Specialist at Kamehameha School’s Hawai’i campus where I help teachers integrate technology into their curriculum.  I started my career in Education at Waimea Middle School where I taught Math and Science.  After observing how technology motivated my own children, I started using it more and more as part of my classroom instruction.  If I didn’t know how to use a technology tool, I just asked the students to show me.  After all, they’re the experts!  The more I used technology, the more I realized how important it was to use technology as part of my instruction and  I decided to go back to school to learn more.  In 2008, I received my Masters Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, and running with friends.
