Web 2.0 has caused a fundamental shift in the way we communicate, as well as how students learn and interact with information.\u00a0 That shift has and is changing the culture of education.\u00a0 If teachers are going to be prepared to meet the needs of their students now and in the future, principals must be prepared to pave the way.\u00a0 This presentation is designed to inform and engage principals about the advantages of implementing Web\u00a0 2.0 in their schools.<\/p>\n

Dwayne Priester<\/strong>
\nMid-Pacific Institute<\/strong>
\nDr. Dwayne E. Priester is currently the Middle School Principal at Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii.\u00a0 As an educator for more than 24 years, his experience ranges from teaching middle and high school Social Studies to an adjunct professor at Northern Arizona University’s College of Education. During the past two years, he was invited and traveled to work with schools across the U.S. and in China to implement 21st century instructional models including Web 2.0.\u00a0 Dr. Priester is deeply passionate about relevant instructional change and uncompromisingly committed to ensuring that both faculty and students are adaptable in preparation to meet the challenges of our ever-evolving world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
