Mobile Learning
The challenge was to “design an iPhone app that would be useful to our school community.” I used a challenge-based learning approach to transform my classroom into a rich, student-centered, project-based learning environment in which students used video, iPads, and online tools to document their thinking and tell the story of their own learning. I will share tips, tools, and strategies for engaging students in the process of creating something difficult and worthwhile.
