Mobile Learning
Participants will learn how we put iPads into the hands of teachers and transformed technology integration in the classroom through the development of a teacher lead PLC. Learn how teachers collaborated to increase engagement, inspire creativity, and ultimately empower students. Let us help you navigate through some of the challenges of integrating the iPad into a classroom setting as we discuss the ways in which our teachers are using the iPad, with a variety of apps, to enhance learning.

Ellen Cordeiro
Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i
Ellen Cordeiro is curently an Instructional Technology Specialist at Kamehameha School’s Hawaii Campus and services teachers in grades K-12. Before coming to Kamehameha, Ellen was a middle school teacher at Waimea Middle School on the Big Island of Hawai’i for 10 years. At WMS, Ellen taught multiple content areas, started WMS News and was the Technology Resource Teacher.
