YOU ARE INVITED (CALL FOR PRESENTERS/PROPOSALS):
You are invited to submit a proposal to share your experience and expertise with colleagues at our 2012 Kūkulu Kaiaulu Conference: Building Global Communities on June 5 and 6 at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Others will benefit from your experience while you make a valuable contribution to the profession. Our goal is for attendees to experience informative, inspirational, relevant, and meaningful professional development.
The conference is expected to attract about 300 attendees and draws many participants eager to learn about (and implement) the latest ideas and technology in education. For each breakout session, presenters will have 60 minutes to speak (we encourage leaving enough time at the end for questions). Breakout session presenters will be provided complementary conference registration.
This year, our conference will offer eight (8) Conference Strands/Tracks (in alpha order):
• Strand #1: Administrator / Policy Challenges
• Strand #2: Creating Content Using Online Tools
• Strand #3: Game-Based Learning
• Strand #4: Hybrid Learning
• Strand #5: Information Technology (for system administrators) – i.e., infrastructure, security, governance, networking
• Strand #6: Learning & Leading with Social Media
• Strand #7: Mobile Learning
• Strand #8: Teaching in a Global World
