Teaching in a Global World
This presentation will share the experiences of a teacher of an advanced level Spanish course taught online to students in independent schools who were founding members of the Global Online Academy. The course, En Otra Voz, Perspectivas del Mundo Hispanohablante (In Another Voice: Perspectives of the Spanish Speaking World), explored the current realities of Spanish speaking countries and also allowed the students to identify and make plans for growth in their own use of Spanish. The result was a highly personalized and still collaborative global learning environment.
