Abstract:
The success of any multimedia project is largely based upon how well it
is researched, planned and scheduled. This seminar covers preproduction
and project management of video and multimedia presentations and how to
teach students to do these essentials effectively and creatively.
Attenders of this seminar will learn how to use Celtx, a free open
source multimedia production planning software. We will look
specifically at how to use the software for screenwriting, research,
production design, costume design, location scouting and set design,
storyboarding, asset management and scheduling. We will also discuss
the use of Google Sketchup, Google Earth and Open Office and using them
in conjunction with Celtx.
