Flickr Photostream
6 06 2008Aloha,
Our Flickr photostream is ready to go. Take pictures at the conference and upload them to your personal Flickr account. Tag your photos with “edtechconf” and they will appear in the slide show on the Flickr Stream page of our blog. Cool!

I am impressed with your photo stream and your suggestion that conference participants record their conference experiences with digital cameras and tagging the photos to Flickr. Most conferences do not do this, and it is a shame, because a huge part of learning in the 21st century involves tapping into the knowledge, experience, and energy of the community (formerly known as the audience).
I have also set up a Hitchhikr page for the EdTech conference, which will aggregate not only Flickr photos tagged with edtechconf, but also blog entries. If folks post YouTube videos from the conference, then we can pull those in as well.
You can monitor the conference as an attendee or as a distant participant by pointing your browser to:

Thanks David! The more participation we can get on this the merrier, imagine experiencing events from dozens of different perspectives – each telling their own story of the same event, and how they chose to experience it.
If you are coming to the conference and have a jb iPhone, make sure to install iFlickr (http://code.google.com/p/iflickr/) from the App Tap Official source if you haven’t already. Real-time photo taking-tagging-uploading at its finest, and become an *active* participant in this digital community…
