Adding a YouTube Video to your Blog Post

INSTRUCTIONS
- Login to your WP blog, click on “Write” then “Posts”
- Check to see that you have two tabs, “Visual” and “Code” (see Image 1)
- Click on the “Visual” tab
- Click on the last icon – Yellow circle with a “V” for embed Video
- Paste the URL from the address bar on the page that contains your YouTube video selection. Do not copy the embed video code
Note: YouTube is blocked on the KS network.
If you don’t see two tabs:
- Click on “Users” > “Your Profile”
- Check in the box next to “Use the Visual Editor when writing”
(see Image 3) - Return to “Write” then “Posts
If you still don’t see two tabs:
- You may need to change browsers.
- If you are on a Macintosh, use Firefox (see Image 1), Safari does not load the visual editor applet (see Image 2).

Image 3: Turn on your Visual Editor
