Aloha,
This week I will be working with the high school team leaders, via email, to schedule a time that would allow me to come in and meet with your team. Since you are currently on the modified song rehearsal schedule, I will be looking at about 45 minutes of team time, during our first meeting. At which time I would like to get to know you and your team and introduce a few subscriptions that are being utilized on the Kapalama Campus with the idea of making them available to the Hawai`i campus if there is an interest. I look forward to supporting your team as a whole group, as well as on an individual, one-to-one basis.
In addition I will be scheduling iCan Cafe sessions, which are short 20 minute sessions after school from 3:10 – 3:30 pm, once every 2 weeks. These sessions are optional and will be advertised in advance. I will be available as long as needed following each session for questions. Each session will be delivered only once, however session handouts will be posted to my blog in case you are not able to attend. Feel free to share session ideas with me.
My position supports the elementary school and the high school and occasionally calls for me to be off-island, so scheduling can present some interesting challenges. The ideal schedule would give priority to the high school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and to the elementary school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hopefully this guideline will work to minimize conflicts instead of create them. I will remain as flexible as needed to maximize the time we have together. Please don’t hesitate to request something that falls outside of the guides, as I am here to meet your needs.
I will be off-island on Tuesday, February 19th, and Wednesday, February 20th, however I will be back on campus on Thursday, February 21st and can begin scheduling with you at that time.
I am looking forward to every opportunity to work with you, as you develop your technology skills, and explore and expand your 21st century classroom.
A hui hou,
Chandell
