How Close are you to Close?

So, we have just about completed our grid and portrait unit… are you ready to paint it now? Remember that you are to simulate a Close likeness yet find your own voice in your work. Reports on this artist will be collected on 11/25/08 so keep working on your bio sheets. I can’t wait to read your views on this ground breaking artist.

I like the grid work that we did. But I don’t like to paint it. It is really hard to get inside all the squares. Even though i still want to paint it but it will be hard but I am having fun painting.

I had a hard time doing the grid but i want to paint so bad. The only thing is that it is very hard to bleed the paint. But i think t can do it

I enjoed doing the grid artwork. I think this is my favorite art style this year. I am glad I learned it.
