Drawings? You Can So A Lot With a Pencil

Well after watching the video, what technique is your favorite? Why? I really like to use the smudge technique. It makes great values and creates a soft look to areas. Do you believe knowing different techniques will add to your artistic skill? I know it will. Practice, practice, practice!

I like to hatch and cross hatch then smudge. But then I wish had had enoughf pacients to stipple because it takes forever.
